Some great admissions coming out about taking illegal drugs in the past, wonder what Theresa was on :ymdevil:
When all else fails, read the instructions.

Looking at her in the past few weeks it wasn't ecstasy.

Gove admits to taking cocaine, this subterfuge just doesn't cut it, he won't get selected because he is a slimy toad, not because he took drugs, Boris is very quiet and we understand that 5 of 11 the contestants are pulling out of the race to the top.
We could be mistaken by drawing the conclusion that suddenly none of them want the job, but perhaps we aren't.

But he didn't inhale.

There, fixed it for you. Valium probably, and maybe uppers and downers.

A PM who would probably not be able to.set foot in the USA amongst other countries.
Doesn't really cut the mustard, somehow

Mentioned in the Marr show this morning. Still, save on air miles and CO2. May has not been there this year and only a couple last year. No big deal then?

Border controls would be difficult
"Name?"
"May"
"Occupation"
"No, we tried that"
"Are you now, or have you ever been, a member of the Nazi Party?"
"Yes"
"Oh, Nazi Party...I thought you said Nasty Party. Not much difference I suppose."

Always a good idea to keep Boris away from the public...

Problem is, should he get elected it will be too late to prevent the damage that will ensue.....

Boris knows his target audience !....what better way to get elected than to appeal to the minds and bank balances of Mail and Torygraph readers alike with the usual tax cut bribes !.......and removing some of the spending originally destined for no deal contingencies ....that's Tory accountancy for you.

It's impossible though to dispute the Labour response to this generosity ........at least if you are aware of life in the real world here in the UK and the corrosive effects the policies are having on millions ( as mentioned in the response, and by myself) of lives.

No, it's entirely possible. Those of us who live in the real world and not the Guardian/Marxist version of it don't fall for the utter tosh spouted.

Ah Nick....such erudition !.

I appreciate, that, in your dysfunctional Utopia life is a bunch of roses and that every street and building in the UK is festooned with Marxist slogans and banners...the only surprise is that you have yet to identify LHD vehicles as being further evidence of how Marxism is encroaching on every facet of life, but give it time, and you will.

However, feel free to provided evidence that contradicts the "utter tosh " as exemplified in the figures within the article.

Feel free also to offer us your explanation as to why the DWP have featured so prominently in the cases of people dying through swinging cuts to their benefits, why millions more are penalised for even the most simplistic error in not complying with the arcane legislation and any personal knowledge you may have of the effects of their bullying arrogance and contempt for claimants lives and well being.

NR, not sure what's up doc, but papers say people are saying cocaine users should not even be MPs. Be a laff if one was elected as PM and his constituents porogued him.

Have you ever been to the House of Commons when the bar is chucking out? The number of paralytic MP's being poured into taxis is amazing, terrible behaviour from many and quite an eye opener the first time you see it. The question is. Is getting well pissed every night any worse than a snort of cocain,or some other recreational drug, taken in your younger days??

I have plenty of personal knowledge, particularly with regards to my niece who has special needs. My sister, particularly, could regale you with the dirtbags she has met who are attempting to play the welfare system to the detriment of those who actually need it. There are cases of injustice, there will always be. Sometimes these are corrected, sometimes they are not. It is a harsh fact of life. The" utter tosh" is stating that millions are suffering poverty and injustice. But your closed Marxist mind will always equate "rich" people (whatever that means) with selfishness and "poor" people (whatever that means) with dignity and you honestly believe that only the left have a social conscience. Sometimes it is almost possible to pity you. Sometimes.

Whilst we are excited at the prospect of a new Tory leader, candidates are now falling over themselves to promise greater bribes, complete abolition of all personal income tax, Brexit with no deal and cures for cancer being only some of the promises.
However behind all this it has been announced that over 75s will now have to pay for their TV licence, the very fact that anyone at all has to pay for the unrelenting left wing propaganda that we are subject to is iniquitous, but that people who have given a lifetime of service to the country only to have their pitiful pension taxed in this way to support the BBC is worse than any Marxist proposal dreamt up by Corbyn.

1DC, getting legless is not illegal. Snorting drugs is.

Even so I agree our 'elders ' should set an example and follow the drinking guidelines.

Point of order: if their pension is pitiful, then they will be receiving Pension Credit, and thus still eligible for a free TV licence.
Personally, I gave up on the BBC after they scrapped the UK Theme before the early Shipping Forecast, in order to include a news bulletin which had identical content to the news bulletin immediately after the Shipping Forecast. It was pure spite on their behalf, presumably because they considered it nationalistic. Everyone I know who needed to listen to the early Forecast enjoyed it.
