Re: The disgraceful BBC
Try this for size? How any sentient being could confuse the 'other' rally for the "Freedom/Anti-lockdown" march beats me;
Just for a change, I know 'cos I wuz there and observed both marches as I participated in the subject march...

Maybe the BBC reporter compiled their report from the bar of their local pub?

Re: The disgraceful BBC
A Short History of Time in the Life of the BBC gives a fairly balanced in-depth look at how they've ended up in their current predicament.
There's nothing like a former insider with experience of the organisation to comprehensively spill the beans and also to partake in the discussion.
Let us hope the new Chair, former Goldman Sachs banker Richard Sharp, behaves as his name implies or he may become famous as being at the helm when "Auntie" finally sank below the waves of opprobrium and criticism and licence fee withholding by the peasants;
Enjoy, weep or all three...

At least it wasn't a penguin, cause they can't get the wrappers off.

Boac, suspect Budapest zoo did not feed their polar bear live seals, for the entertainment of the visitors.

Agreed, unlikely but who knows? I would personally have gone along with 'how many ice fields are there in Budapest zoo, but that's just me.
PS It was a joke.

Oooos, nearly blew it there, big time!
I know it’s not the Beeb, but typical of how MSM treats dissenting opinions/information about the ‘plague’ and the magic silver bullet which will save us all;

And not just media bias.
BBC1, a repeat, The Coroner at 1.45. I happen to glance up, there was a woman, clothed, on top of a man, naked chest and hands possibly fastened to the headboard.
FFS, I had only just had my lunch.

Far better to attend the Carl Lagerfeld Bondage Dungeons in Bremerhaven. Ask for Helga, tell her that the Goblin recommended her!

Re: The disgraceful BBC
I note that PN disappeared immediately after my somewhat ribald (even by my standards) post . Either he is on a flight to Bremerhaven, as we speak, and if he is, I trust he will not be disappointed as there is no Karl Lagerfeld Bondage Dungeon there, the name being a trope in the Ab Fab TV series, misappropriated by the Goblin who feels that if there were such an establishment, it should be in Bremerhaven.
If, on the other hand, I have offended him in my usual tactless way, then I apologise for my Rabelaisian jest which was meant in fun and not as a statement of fact.

Re: The disgraceful BBC
I would rather see any woman indulging in giving or receiving bondage, than Frau Merkel giving a press conference. That is taking sadism a step too far.
Re: The disgraceful BBC
BBC Newsnight chief told to quit an argument he has dressed up as 'misogynistic', concerning the appointment of unsuitable, biased Jess Brammar to 'executive news editor' position. She has deleted lots and lots of Twatter posts but still can't get away from her past actions.

BBC Newsnight chief is silenced and told to delete tweets sticking up for new anti-Brexit boss Jess Brammar who is embroiled in a bias row
Lewis Goodall silenced after tweeting about row over new BBC appointment
Reprimanded after standing up for new executive news editor Jess Brammar
Following criticism of her appointment, Goodall, 32, fumed on Twitter: ‘Not going to share it but yet more unhinged misogynistic attacks on Jess Brammar’
A senior BBC journalist has been silenced after wading into a row over bias at the top of the news department.
Lewis Goodall, policy editor of BBC2’s flagship current affairs programme Newsnight, was reprimanded last week after standing up for new executive news editor Jess Brammar.
Her appointment to the hugely influential role, as revealed by The Mail on Sunday last weekend, has provoked controversy as she is well known for holding anti-Brexit views and has been critical of Boris Johnson.
But following criticism of her appointment, Goodall, 32, fumed on Twitter: ‘Not going to share it but yet more unhinged misogynistic attacks on Jess Brammar.’
He described a ‘campaign against her’ which he said needed to be ‘called out’.
His tetchy intervention clearly overstepped the mark with his bosses – who are acutely sensitive to any allegations of bias – and they told him to delete the tweet.

Re: The disgraceful BBC
Been watching a replay of Last Night of the Proms. The BBC couldn't keep their cameras off a small group wearing berets with the EU ring of stars, yet on wider shots of the audience, this very small group was surrounded by Union Jacks.
The BBC, mis-representing the UK at every opportunity and very much the enemy within - they just don't accept the fact that the UK has left the EU.

Agree. See my comment elsewhere on the "Mastersingers of Nurburg".

Perhaps they were checking to see if they were still there and hadn't been thrown out by the masses.
