Happy 4th - Thank you USA

#1 Post by Rwy in Sight » Thu Jul 04, 2019 5:59 am

As someone who moved from "Yankees go home" in the 80's to "Thank you US for being around and helping my country", I like to run a thread to wish for the day and try to evaluate how it performs in the world affairs.

We owe a big thank you for standing against Nazism and Communism. And we need to understand that if you have the power you may use it in a weird way thus some condemnable activities south of their border. However seeing how communism ruined Venezuela we owe a thanks too.

Happy 4th

Great parade! Reminds me of 'Wheels Week' in Ashburton!
Been in data comm since we formed the bits individually with a Morse key.

Nigel made me smile, when discussing the 4th July on his LBC show last night he said, "The Americans left the Union with "no deal" and it worked out all right for them".

The question that appears on the static image of that video is missing an option. You can be a US citizen if you are born abroad to a US parent. It's not naturalisation.

Glad Trump noted that "the Army" guarded the airfields during the War of Independence, the Wright brothers would have been glad of that. ( he blamed rain on the Teleprompter for misleading him )

Nice to see President Trump bring home the Women's World Cup. Again. Winning!
