I'll just keep repeating 'Berners-Lee didn't invent the internet, America did' when I go to bed. ;)))
And don’t forget to add "Epstein didn’t kill himself"

Thanks Dushan!

I should have said internet 'forum' before I'm picked up for that too!

'Nick' - Are you going to continue boring people with your sniping or actually contribute something of real interest to this thread'?

You can pat yourself on the back and say "Yeh! Put him in his place didn't I? Fool didn't know the difference between the world wide web and the internet!" :YMAPPLAUSE:

Let's have something relevant and of interest to the contributors from you instead please. 8-|

I'm so sorry I managed to get under your skin to such an extent. Just calm down old chap. It's just an internet chat site and no threat to your masculinity. People sometimes make mistakes. :-bd

No more replies coming from me to feed your ego, so you can have the last word now and I'll just keep repeating 'Berners-Lee didn't invent the internet, America did' when I go to bed. ;)))
Aw, it's so sweet that you think you have got under my skin. Run along now, the grown-ups need to talk.

Why such puerile comments aimed at each other?

Can't you grow up and behave like adults?

I agree G-CPTN. It's just like the so called 'discussions' over on TOP.

I'll take that as a 'no' then 'Nick'.

G-CPTN This nonsense has become a distraction for people who want to debate what's going on in the States in a sensible (non-TOP) manner.

One either reacts to silly remarks or one doesn't - I confess in this case I should have just let it ride. I have enough problems with my arse as it is, after years of being strapped into uncomfortable helicopters in seats designed for apes. ;)))

I hope that normal service can be resumed by the usual commentators now. :-h

Sure, let me take the first step towards resuming normal programming.

Trump is doing a great job and deserves to be re-elected, which he will be.

What a sad reflection on the USA when such a large country cannot find two people who would be capable of being a respected President of their country. Trump may be popular within his own country but has no respect outside of it.In fact he just demonstrates incompetence and the American reputation is in freefall. Biden doesn't appear to have any ability whatsoever.
What an impossible position for the voters.

1DC ,

I suggest that President Trump has elevated respect of the US over his term. He has done this through trade negotiations, dealing with Iran and N. Korea, reassuming US border control, et al. To say he has no respect outside the US is an insult that does not reflect reality.

There is a lot of respect for President Trump around both the USA and the world. I've been surprised by the support for President Trump in Mexico, where I spend half my life.

I employ several workers to upgrade and maintain my home here at Tulum, where I am now. Every one of them I've talked to gives President Trump a thumbs up. These are common laborers, and they don't know my politics, and our communications are limited to cell phone translations, but the sense I get is that they like a strong leader, they like the idea of fighting against the machine trying to get control over us all

OK, so they'd vote for Zapata if they could.

Outside your local bubble, there is almost zero respect for the Chumplet.

He's an even more absurd spectacle of pig-ignorance and profound stupidity even than Shrub. I never thought that possible in the dark days of Shrub, but it's happened. It's real.

The Corporatocracy which owns fascist America knows what it is doing. Hence the proles being given a 'choice' between Stundo Biden and the Chump.

Obviously,i cant speak for the rest of the world but everywhere i go abroad and whenever i speak to my foreign friends all i hear is ridicule of him. My American friends say he has support but they cringe every time he opens his mouth.
I dont see any success for him in South Korea or Iran. American political system isn't up to much when people like Trump and Biden come out as the favourites.

You could be right on this one, 1DC. In the last two years I've only been to Canada, Mexico and Australia. My sense of Canada and Australia is that mostly they are negative Trump. My sense of Mexico is that they like him at street level. I think part of that is that they are opposed to drug cartels' power.

In Canada and Australia people are informed by a biased press which industriously works to make out the Trump administration as foolish despite the facts.

It's Trump who makes Trump look foolish.

Blaming the media for playing tapes of Trump making Trump look foolish is not fair.
