Señora Larss' described Vice President Harris's outfit as 'stunning' and was covetous of her necklace. I thought she was a bit of all right and the best looking vice president in the history of the USA.
The next President ? If not from being only a "heartbeat away" then in 2024 ?

She ain't going to stand idly by, and holding the casting vote in the Senate means that Bidens dictates can only be passed into law if she agrees.

Be careful what you wish for.

This article, by an Irish journalist will ruffle the feathers of most in this forum

https://www.rt.com/op-ed/513126-biden-d ... aign=Email

" Joe Biden is a swamp creature to his core, but to mainstream pundits, his arrival in Washington is akin to the second coming of Christ. The sycophancy is pathetic, but it’ll soon get dangerous when Joe actually starts to govern.
The return of a clapped-out career politician to the White House has the mainstream media squealing with delight. Their liberal bias hasn’t exactly been a secret these last four years (“fiery but mostly peaceful” Black Lives Matter protests vs. the “extremist insurrection” on Capitol Hill being the latest example), but their outpouring of emotion over Biden’s inauguration would make even a North Korean news anchor blush."
Ironic, isn't it? RT (formerly Russia Today) has transformed itself from the official voice of Soviet communism to an organ well to the right of the Wall Street Journal.

But perhaps Biden's acheivements have been overstated? It was actually Trump who persuaded his fan base that the electoral system was corrupt and thus lost those last two Republican seats in the Senate.

Trump managed something that Obama couldn't do.
Don't feed the old troll crocodile lurking in his own morass of bitterness and toothless malevolence in his dotage somewhere in his small right wing tributary . Not an old Salty mind, he snaps occasionally!

TGG
"The sooner the graceless, sociopathic, orange puddle of self regard, his Eastern European crack whore looking wife, and his egregious, sucking family, are completely out of Washington the better."

Anybody who prints crap like that on an open forum certainly has ***** for brains.

You have not answered my query on that weird video you posted, were you a Thomson gunner? does that explain anything perhaps.

Whatever we may individually think of the Chump (and his complicit wife) I do think that in the interests of rebuilding the USA we should now back off until the expected legal processes have begun, when fun could be had again.

We should, of course, remain 'loaded and locked' should he raise his head above the parapet.

It seems to me that far more is being made of this woman than is normally the case with a VP. She's already being described as black, which she isn't. After two weeks in Benidorm I'm only a shade or two lighter than her! :)) The media, if analysed carefully, will give pointers as to what politicians are really thinking. The two professions share the same bed these days, certainly in western democracies.

I can't see Joe doing four years - I've long thought that he's just a Trojan Horse. Jeez, he's two years older than me and I wouldn't want to run a whelk stall these days, let alone take on such a powerful position, with all the stress it brings.

I've always thought of Boston Ma. as a home of lefties!
Thank you, Mr. President, for everything you’ve done.

It shouldn’t be ending this way, but I and 74 million other Americans just want to thank you for all your efforts on our behalf over the past four years, actually since you came down the escalator at Trump Tower back in the summer of 2015.

In no particular order:

Thank you for restoring the U.S. as the world’s leading producer of energy – after your predecessor sternly lectured us that we “couldn’t drill our way” out of our dependence on unstable Middle Eastern oil providers.

Thank you for the tax cuts for the middle class.

Thank you for destroying genocidal ISIS, which your predecessor called “the junior varsity.”

Thanks for shutting off the endless flow of illegal immigrants at the southern border, and the unending supply of MS-13 gangbangers, among other criminals, as well as the welfare-dependent illiterate indigents who were so destabilizing American society before you became president.

Thank you for calling out the endless hypocrisy of the media — what you so aptly described as “Very Fake News.”

Thank you for promoting economic policies that led to the lowest unemployment rates ever for blacks, Hispanics, Asians, Native Americans and women, among others.

Thank you for doing more to promote peace in the Middle East than all of your predecessors combined.

Thank you for calling out and exposing the feckless RINOs of your own party like Willard Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, Kelly Ayotte, et al.

Thanks for finally standing up to Red China and its predatory trade practices.

Thanks for calling out Fox News Channel for its duplicitous descent into terminal wokeness.

Thank you for Operation Warp Speed, an amazing achievement for which you will never receive the appropriate credit.

Thanks for pardoning all the persecuted victims of the Russian collusion hoax, among them Gen. Michael Flynn and Roger Stone.

Thank you for eliminating Obamacare’s “individual mandate,” which fined individuals for not buying health insurance they didn’t want or couldn’t afford.

Thank you for taking more questions from (almost always hostile) reporters than all of the last three or four presidents combined.

Thanks for getting the U.S. out of such foreign policy disasters as the Iran nuclear deal, the Paris Climate Accords and the Trans-Pacific Partnership, as well as ending the fiasco for American workers that was NAFTA.

Thanks for such a booming economy that seven million people got off the food-stamp rolls.

Thanks for all those tweets that drove the Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself) crazy.

Also, a personal note on Twitter: Thanks for the three tweets promoting my book, “What Really Happened: How Donald J. Trump Saved America from Hillary Clinton.”

As Donald Trump Jr. told me: “That’s two tweets more than he gave my book!”

Thank you for not turning the IRS into an instrument of persecution against your political foes, the way your predecessor did.

Thanks for not surveilling reporters a la the Obama administration.

Thanks for ending state oppression against people of faith like the Little Sisters of the Poor.

Thank you for trying to defund “sanctuary cities” where illegals run amok.

Thanks for the three new justices on the Supreme Court — think how much worse Hillary’s picks would have been, and maybe someday they’ll grow the spines they so obviously lacked last month in Texas v. Pennsylvania.

Thank you for defanging North Korea and Little Rocket Man.

Thanks for opening up more of our North Atlantic waters for New England commercial fishermen and lobstermen.

Thanks for defending both the First and Second Amendments, and for railing against Section 230, which the billionaire fascists of Silicon Valley are abusing to shut down free speech.

Thank you for appointing U.S. attorneys who actually wanted to put real criminals in prison, without fear or favor.

Thanks for using the death penalty, when necessary, against the worst of the worst serial killers.

Thank you for the travel ban, which has largely halted the flow of terrorists like the Tsarnaevs, who had been welcomed into the U.S. and put on welfare by previous administrations, Democrat and Republican alike.

Thanks for the balance in my 401(k).

Thanks for the lowest gasoline prices in decades.

Thanks for the largest number of Americans with gainful employment since the government started keeping records.

Thank you for ordering the elimination of two of the most bloodthirsty terrorists on earth, al-Baghdadi and Gen. Soleimani.

To borrow a line from “The Last Hurrah,” “How do you thank a guy for a million laughs?”

Thanks for all the great nicknames — Crooked Hillary, Li’l Marco, Low Energy Jeb, etc.

Thanks for all the amazingly entertaining rallies, if not for bringing back the Village People’s “Macho Man” song.

Mr. President, I could go on and on and on, but all of us Deplorables and bitter clingers and credulous Boomer rubes just want you to know how much we appreciate the four years you gave us to prepare and fortify ourselves for the impending disaster ahead.

We’ll be back, Mr. President, and so will you.

Ian we get it, for a little bit, your share portfolio 'bumped', and we too benefitted from this, or at least holding off until Covid decimated things and then we're back in when it was 'Cheap' to do so...so we're doing OK, not fantastic, but OK, playing it well I would say...as the balance sheet would reflect at this time...
Thanks for all the great nicknames — Crooked Hillary, Li’l Marco, Low Energy Jeb, etc.
School yard stuff...but if it's your thing, knock yourself out!

Seriously, do you think such a perverted soul as Trump is capable of even lying straight in bed?...Rudy on $20K a day of tax payers $ until the result doesn't go Trumps way!?!...no wonder his 'Baby Balloon' is going on display in a Museum.....and without taking anything from our proud ANZACS....Trump..."Lest we Forget"

Can anyone give me a reason why I should give a toss about America,Trump,Biden et al.Unless you live in the USA I can't understand why people get concerned.I've never given a toss during my previous 68 years and I don't intend to start now.I'm not very wise politically and do not intend to waste any of my time worrying about a country 3'000 odd miles away.As far as I can tell they don't and will not impinge on my life.

Rib, outside of NATO, when of course I had an interest, I share your views. We have no say in their politics domestic or international. Our media may speculate but to what end?

It was said yesterday that those claiming Irish descent in the US out number the population in Ireland more than 6 fold.

A slightly naïve view of the world, if you don't mind me opining. Trump was and still is a major world problem.

Anyway many in Britain don't agree with your 3 monkey trifecta....
