" What! Are you still coming up with the "we wuz robbed" tripe? Where is the rolls eyes emoticon? Ah there it is.... "
Your powers of comprehension would not be your strongest point. Where in my post was that ever mentioned. My point was the lack of efficiency in an electoral roll that has 21,000 dead people on it. And the fact that any of them managed cast a vote.

And what did Biden say? “C'mon man; you're too young to go. Look at me".
Because they stand on the wall and say "nothing's gonna hurt you tonight, not on my watch".
Re: Chaos in USA
Even more proof of the dire state the USA is now in. A cop who cannot apparently distinguish between a gun and a Taser?

I can comprehend garbage when it is implied, which one tends to see a lot of on this thread.prospector wrote: ↑Sat Apr 10, 2021 9:11 pm" What! Are you still coming up with the "we wuz robbed" tripe? Where is the rolls eyes emoticon? Ah there it is.... "

Of course, the recent review announced into the Supreme Court could undo a lot of that if they either expand the court or stop it being a lifetime appointment. That could then filter down to lower levels too, you get appointed for ten years (or some other term) but can be reappointed if the President at the time wishes.EA01 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 13, 2021 2:16 pmShould bring a smile to some!...

Aaaaand another shooting Ladies & Gentlemen, this time at a FedEx building in Indianapolis....It's getting boring it happens so often.
I see Texas now wants no permit carry...what could go wrong? Was it not Texas that had a 23 fatality shooting at a Walmart as recently as 2019??

Exactly - everyone from 2 years old upwards should have a gun. Then they will all be safe.

(CNN)Two people are dead and police officer was wounded after a traffic stop Friday ended in gunfire, according to the San Antonio police chief.
A fourth person was wounded and has been hospitalized, Chief William McManus said during a brief news conference, noting that his information was preliminary.
Based on his review of the body camera footage, McManus said a San Antonio officer made a traffic stop and had what appeared to be a casual conversation with the driver of the truck for a few minutes.
The driver then pulled a gun for unknown reasons and opened fire, hitting the officer in the hand, McManus said.
The officer retreated backwards while returning fire, killing both the driver and a passenger, and wounding another passenger in the upper torso. Multiple rounds were fired by both the person inside the vehicle and the officer, according to the chief.
The chief said he did not know what prompted the officer to pull the truck over.
"He was an officer patrolling here, (a) routine traffic stop, which turned out to be not so routine after all," McManus said.
Those killed are believed to be males in their mid-to-late 20s, McManus said.
The officer, a five-year veteran, was taken to a hospital. McManus said he had no information on his condition other than he was able to talk.
"I will also say that the officer is very, very lucky to be alive at that close range, having been shot in the hand, and not somewhere else more vital," McManus said.

San Antonio Airport on lockdown after officer-involved shooting

San Antonio Police Chief William McManus said police shot and killed a man at the San Antonio airport Thursday afternoon. McManus said police believe it was the same man who was shooting from the overpass of the Loop 1604 and U.S. 281 interchange at about 10:30 a.m. earlier in the day.
Four hours later, McManus said the unidentified man showed up at the airport driving the wrong way on the lower level of Terminal B. An airport police officer confronted the man, who got out of the car and began shooting.
The officer returned fire, hitting the suspect. Police did not say how many shots were fired but said the man had a. .45 caliber handgun and a box of ammunition.
The man was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
"The officer saved many lives. What we had there was the start of an active shooter situation," McManus said. "We are very lucky today."
McManus said the man matched the description of the person who was shooting from the interchange but did not know what led to the shootings.
According to the police chief, SAPD has a history with that individual concerning mental health issues.
The FBI said it does not believe it was an act of terrorism.
One person inside the airport was treated after they were hit by shrapnel from the bullet and a second was taken to the hospital with a broken ankle from running from the scene, McManus said.
Tom Bartlett, the deputy director of the aviation department, said the arrival level remains closed. Passengers can be picked up on the departure level, he said.
The San Antonio Airport is under lockdown after an officer-involved shooting Thursday afternoon, San Antonio police said.
At 2:39 p.m., airport police called SAPD to report a shooting.
In a tweet, SAPD said there is no active threat to the public and the lockdown is a precaution
Two not so good days in San Antonio.

Re: Chaos in USA
Bit of a shame about the 13 year old boy who was unarmed when shot dead by a cop.
If he'd dropped his pistol a few seconds earlier he might be alive today?
The US is deep in the ***** if 13 year old boys are toting pistols though. There's no way out of this, but they don't want to quit anyway.
Here's some advice that may have been useful to this teenager.

Perhaps not able to write up the incident. The officer, a five-year veteran, was taken to a hospital. McManus said he had no information on his condition other than he was able to talk.
"I will also say that the officer is very, very lucky to be alive at that close range, having been shot in the hand, and not somewhere else more vital," McManus said.
I believe the advice we were given 50 odd years ago was actually to get out of your car, hands on view, and humbly apologise.
