I'm afraid that some people here need to look at facts rather than opinions.
Take four of the rebel States that were famously hold outs on vaccination.
Texas 52.3% of the population vaccinated . Covid rate 22 per 100,000.
Florida 58.7% of the population vaccinated. Covid rate 13 per 100,000.
Georgia 47% of the population vaccinated. Covid rate 17 per 100,000.
Louisiana 46.6% of the population vaccinated. Covid rate 14 per 100,000.
These were States predicted to face a Covid explosion because of their policies.
Now, the more compliant States
California 60.2% of the population vaccinated. Covid rate 14 per 100,000.
Delaware (the area around Washington DC) 58.8% of the population vaccinated. Covid rate 48 per 100,000.
Washington 62.4% of the population vaccinated. Covid rate 32 per 100,000.
Virginia (another "suburb" of Washington DC) 61.9% of the population vaccinated. Covid rate 25 per 100,000.
Pennsylvania (the home State of Biden) a mere 59.2% vaccination rate but a Covid rate of 36 per 100,000.
These figures are from the Mayo Clinic Covid tracking app.
Please explain why Louisiana, supposedly the State popularly considered to have one of the worst medical infrastructures in the US, with only 46.6% of the population vaccinated, has a similar infection rate to California with its supposedly excellent medical system and 60.2% vaccination rate? Why does the great and highly insulted State of Texas have an infection rate of 22 per 100,000 when virtual suburbs of Washington DC have rates of 25 and 48 per 100,000?
The US media is distorting popular reports to suggest that pro-choice vaccination States are sinking into disaster, factually this is simply not true. Incidentally, these States are also the recipients of hundreds of Covid cases allowed into the country by Biden's immigration policies which do not now test immigrants for Covid, simply letting them mix with the vaccinated rest of the population.
