It is only a matter of time...
Between stuff like this, his shady business dealings, possible bank and insurance fraud, tax evasion, etc. his house of cards will collapse and he will be in deep doo doo.

Nah, he is in the 'too big to fail' class.
Been in data comm since we formed the bits individually with a Morse key.

Neither sneaky nor deceitful. It is common practice to donate small amounts on a recurring basis. I have been doing it for years. It is good for the recipients as they can account for the cash flow, as well as for the donor.

Sneaky and deceitful when buried in the fine print and the default rather than an opt-in.

It depends very much on whether the donors thought it was a one-off for a particular cause or whether it was clear that it was a recurring thing.

I don't think you are a complete **** idiot (I'm often wrong), but apparently you can't see a moral difference between giving freely and being tricked into giving...Either way its no wonder you are a republican

I must say that Bob's often robust, or at least, very direct, method of pointing out the logical faults and mistakes of the slow, erring and deluded, is a revelation and makes me critical of my own lack of confidence and diffidence in debate! His message, to me, at least, is you can never be blunt enough! =))

There's always the worrying thought, too, that he might occasionally be right. :))

More gun related lunacy...
A toddler in Chicago has been left in critical care after being shot in the head in an apparent “road rage incident”, authorities have said.

Chicago police commander Jake Alderden said in a press conference that the shooting took place at 11am on Tuesday when an incident “escalated into shots being fired for approximately two blocks”.

The two-year-old suffered a bullet wound to his head and was left hospitalised during the shooting. Family members have since said that the toddler’s condition has improved but that he is not completely out of danger, NBC 5 reported.

Pennsylvania Agrees to Remove Names of Dead Citizens From Voter Rolls: Settlement
BY JACK PHILLIPS April 8, 2021 Updated: April 8, 2021biggersmaller Print
The state of Pennsylvania agreed to remove the names of deceased people from voter rolls, an election-integrity watchdog group announced after reaching a settlement with state officials.

The lawsuit, (pdf) which was filed by the Public Interest Legal Foundation in November 2020, alleged that some 21,000 registrants who had died were still on the state’s voter rolls at the time of the 2020 presidential election. Pennsylvania agreed to compare its voter-registration database with the Social Security Death Index, and then direct all county election commissions to remove the names of dead registrants.

“This marks an important victory for the integrity of elections in Pennsylvania,” Public Interest Legal Foundation President and General Counsel J. Christian Adams said in a statement in announcing the court’s decision. “The Commonwealth’s failure to remove deceased registrants created a vast opportunity for voter fraud and abuse. It is important to not have dead voters active on the rolls for 5, 10, or even 20 years. This settlement fixes that.”

That would be an understatement, I would have said very important, not just important.

Well, that’s big of them to "agree" to remove dead people from voter rolls. What next? Chicago? Naaaah, who am I kidding?
