No argument that Russia, is a deeply corrupt, authoritarian, "gangster" state intent on sowing FUD midst its perceived enemies, but that doesn't detract from the fact that this country's( UK) posturing when lecturing others about corruption, sleaze, probity etc. etc. is totally undermined by the reality of what is happening here in government, business and many other parts of business, society etc. The trend is towards corruption, ignorance of good governance, lack of probity and a general amorality...

Is used to be an auditor. I would discover many mistakes. I never came across the revolving cheque scam though the Lossie rugby club with revolving beer kegs came close. With one exception I never blamed the book keeper but the supervisor.

Lax supervision is the main cause of fraud.

Ibbie, I looked at the table of red, yellow, green published earlier. Very hard to determine the trigger point on the vaccination and case figures. Several countries had at least one better than Portugal and the other close. Portugal was clearly the worst green country by a mile.

Of the yellow countries there may also have been a trust factor which caused their exclusion.

Regarding shutting down flights, or imposing lockdowns, why delay? Is it because of the political flak when they did act immediately?
