How we laughed at Macron and his attempts to emulate a Ukrainian hero under seige. Now BJ opens his mouth and puts both feet in it - advancing the SNP cause on his way. Anti-SNP journalist Alan Cochrane reports in the Telegraph:
Boris Johnson’s one saving grace in comparing Brexiteers to Ukrainians? He’d left Scotland before he said it
Aren’t Remainers also ‘proper’ Britons for failing to opt for the ‘freedom’ of leaving the EU?

“With Boris, no matter how hard you try to get along with him, to support him, there’s always likely to be something else - another bomb just waiting to explode.” This is the sentiment that fairly sums up the air of resignation, combined with downright anger, of senior Tories, especially in Scotland, at the Prime Minister’s decision to compare Ukrainians battling against Russian invaders with Britons who voted for Brexit.
Both were freedom fighters, he claimed, in a weekend speech to a Tory conference which proved that for him it’s always possible to make friends and alienate half the population without too much trouble, often in the same sentence.
As crass comments go, it takes a bit of beating and undoes much of the good will evinced in Boris’ direction thanks to his handling of the international crisis, which saw him warmly welcomed in the Scottish Tories’ spring conference last Friday - his first ever personal appearance at the event.
