Well, that decides it - Priti Patel MUST surely get some sort of honor for achieving a significant lift to the cross-channel migrant daily total.
Priti, whose only answer is I have a sari! She needs a kick there up!

I am sorry too, that was a racist dog whistle based comment from me, but this country looked after her parents (and her) after Amin threw them out.

It works both ways Priti... ain't that a pity!

I have a song, that covers Mad Nad's idea. The Aussies got there well before her and thus I call her out as a mentally moribund old slapper, if not a liar. Out of respect for the site's Mod, I won't post the song (or the explanation on this thread), but it can be found here...

Johnson just loves those day glow vests. What will he do without his daily press photo opportunity, preferably with safety glasses on, at some cesspool liner manufacturer in Scunthorpe, plastic extrusion moulding factory in Steeple Bumstead and the like? =))

“Three Dog Night” The geographic source of this phrase has been debated time and again. No one is sure whether it originated in the Australian outback or the northern reaches of North America with the Eskimos. The meaning, however, is quite clear. The phrase is a rudimentary nightly temperature gauge.

WFH, Jacob Rees-Mogg won’t be happy, perhaps he’ll try and sell Buckingham Palace :ymdevil:

She should use Microsoft Teams. The PM can hit the bow and scrape button from the comfort of her lounge and the Queen will be spared the odious lingering smell of the PM's cheese and b@lls@@! =))

What chance that HM will not accept the result of the choice of forthcoming PM and instruct there to be a fresh election?

Very little sadly. This preposterous farce of an "election" will play out and the UK will stagger onwards into crisis with the dimmest of popularly unelected bulbs in control as PM. I see trouble ahead!

Well at least the Minister for the Victorian Workhouse (and possibly soon Lord Middle Ages), the Catholic Latin botherer, the Right Dishonourable Jacob Rees Mogg, will fit right in with such a dystopian Dickensian scenario (note Mogg's Jacob to Dickens's Marley)!

Reminiscent of Alan Coren's A Short Life but a Happy One, in which he learns to live with austerity.

The family sits in their car, which has flat tyres and no petrol, fantasizes about touring, and tries to recall the sensations experienced.
They picnic on "...peppered Ryvita and mushrooms newly scraped from the fractured damp course. How we both have profited physically from the shortage of everything edible! No overweight problems for us, and what a saving in clothes! ..."
They find some excitement in looking at the neighbour's dried-egg packet...

The whole thing is very funny.
