Fancy following the recommendations of the WHO. What a silly thing to do. They obviously know NOTHING about the Corona Virus.

The quarantine measures come into force on 8 June, although some professions are exempt, such as lorry drivers, police officers, seasonal farm workers, and healthcare professionals.
Also exempt will be people coming from the Irish Republic, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
Travellers will have to tell the UK government where they will be staying and if they do not provide an address, officials will arrange accommodation.
In England, there will be random spot checks and £1,000 fines, while governments in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland can impose their own penalties.
I wonder how much bio secure accommodation has been arranged for people saying that they’ve got nowhere adequate to self isolate :(

I suspect once the Bojo dreamers recognise it isn't going to work or even be necessary at this late stage we will not need any. By then the rest of the world will probably have shunned our infected mobs and there will be much de Pfeffeling around and even threats to leave the EU - so there.

From the Mail:

"Boris Johnson's hopes of downgrading the coronavirus alert level from four to three last week were thwarted by Chief Medical Officer Chris Whitty, it has emerged.

The Prime Minister had wanted to reduce the five-stage alert level after announcing the partial easing of lockdown restrictions, which came into force yesterday.

However, the threat level has stayed at four, after Professor Whitty insisted it couldn't be lowered despite plans to relax rules.

This has led to fears that the government is ignoring the science as it moves to ease restrictions, after Mr Johnson said in his roadmap, published on May 11, that the alert level would have to be downgraded before any relaxation of lockdown.

Mr Johnson instead said the level was 'moving towards three', as a raft of restrictions in England were eased on Monday. Primary schools were reopened for reception, year one and year six, outdoor markets were reopened, along with car showrooms, while horse racing became the first sport to resume, though without spectators.

People in the vulnerable 'shielding' group who have until now been advised to stay indoors are also now allowed to go outside for a walk.

Also as of yesterday, groups of up to six people are allowed to meet outside and even in private gardens.

The government has yet to explain exactly what data leads to a change in alert level, or whether benchmarks like daily infections and deaths are considered.

However, the alert level remains at four - which the Government previously said would mean restrictions remain in place - despite the lockdown being eased.

Downing Street said yesterday that Professor Whitty and the Joint Biosecurity Centre - the body tasked with assessing the Covid-19 alert level - had recently discussed the coronavirus alert level. The Prime Minister's official spokesman said that Professor Whitty and the centre 'worked together on this last week'.

However, an official accused the government of 'wrecking' the centre's credibility by partially lifting lockdown measures this week without JBC saying that the alert level had decreased.

The official told the Times: 'The JBC, like JTAC (Joint Terrorism Analysis Centre), is designed to remove critical national security decision-making from the political arena. JBC's value and credibility has fallen at the first hurdle.'

Later on Monday evening, Health Secretary Matt Hancock added to the confusion after admitting that the Joint Biosecurity Centre was not yet up and running.

Responding to a question about potential local lockdowns in future, Mr Hancock said: 'The Joint Biosecurity Centre's role is a national one to provide the advice and the information that would then be acted on locally.

'So the way to think of it is that the Joint Biosecurity Centre has the information, it advises the CMOs of the UK, who in turn give advice to ministers and to local public health bodies through PHE.

'So that architecture is now established. The JBC still formally needs to come into existence, but we are putting in place all of those data flows to augment the already significant work that Public Health England do in this space.'

Directly asked about whether the Joint Biosecurity Centre exists, Mr Hancock said: 'Yes. We're getting it stood up, making sure that all the information flows come to it so it's able to analyse them and to make sure that it gets set up correctly. All that work's being done, being done as we speak.'

Pressed on whether it exists yet, Mr Hancock replied: 'Well, it's being formulated at the moment, it's being pulled together, yeah.'

The Prime Minister's official spokesman said earlier on Monday: 'In terms of the changes I think we were always clear that we would need to be meeting our five tests and I believe that we are.

'In terms of the alert level it's moving down from four to three. We've obviously been in the process of setting up the new centre and making it fully operational, and I think we're only now getting to that point.'
"

No wonder we are in such a shambles.

boac, arse and elbow is the phrase which springs to mind?
No change there then, but they’re probably hoping more crumblies will die thereby sorting out the pension and housing deficits at a stroke, no pun intended.

Presumably you are actively exposing yourself to the virus to fulfil your theory?

You must admit, that, pre-collapse, the property was attractive (in a sort of Spanish villa sort of way, and had a delightful location.
To find such a property at that price would seem like a bargain..........
Looking a bit closer, it looks like the "house" was originally a mobile home (the central bit with the ridge roof) and has had bits n' bobs added to it. What's the saying? "If something looks too good to be true....?"
The property in Eastchurch, Kent. fell down at about 03:00 BST according to next door neighbour Edwin Cane.
It had been left partially over the edge following a cliff fall on Friday evening, which saw 20 homes evacuated.
"An extension on the side, which didn't have any dirt under it anyway - it was just hanging. That fell off and that's on top of the car that was down there."
"The main building has collapsed on the top of the cliff. The cliff there looks quite solid."

It isn't a theory.

But yes, I'm doing my best to catch it! Why not?

Sadly, I tested negative on Saturday, but give me time- I shall check out with the rest of you coffin dodgers- after all, my job is gone and being rehired looks unlikely.

Here are some photos of the mess left behind at Durdle Door beach by the visitors. I don't know if they were allowed to return to where they had been socialising or egging the youths to jump off the cliffs but suspect they would have left this stuff behind anyway as it's moddun brittun innit? Nobody can tell them what to do without getting abused or beaten up coz they're tough guys. https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-dorset-52890608

Maybe they should just close the beach and put razor wire and cattle electric fencing around the cliffs.

I live in semi-rural Northumberland (where there are more sheep than humans).
The easing of the lockdown (during which we saw nobody - not even residents) is seeing an unusual number of visitors to our riverside, with portable BBQs being lit and groups of a dozen or more youngsters (probably not old enough to drink legally) leaving their detritus abandoned. We have had the fire brigade out to extinguish undergrowth fires.

Our location doesn't usually attract the quantity of visitors that we are seeing now, so why are they coming?

We lived up near Wooler for 7 years and were lucky that access to the hills behind was also a narrow road up to a farm. Anyone blocking the road to impede the huge tractors got a great bollocking from the farmers! We were lucky to be far enough north to not get too many casual day visitors from the city.
A mud track led up the hill and was still shown on GPS maps so the white van men got bollocked!

Under normal circumstances the current visitors that we are experiencing would be going to the Med on twenty quid all inclusive holidays with Jet 2, as they are unable to do this they are taking their relaxation where they can.
Dorset has the coast and inland small sleepy villages with thousand year old churches and quiet old pubs, small valleys with streams flowing through, none of this is of course any interest to these visitors, who merely wish to get paralytic, be sick over each other and behave in a way that is alien to most of us in lockdown.

We can only be thankful that cheap air travel has relieved us of these visitors under normal circumstances, exporting them to foreign climes where they can disgust Europeans and leave us to our tranquility.

It is a great shame on the nation that the type of Brits they 'export' are often the dregs of society, who who merely wish to get paralytic, be sick over each other, and disgust Europeans.

That is why I hope that cheap air fares and cheap AirBnB accommodation will soon become a thing of the past, and the destinations that have been ruined by mass cheap tourism will soon become fit for decent people to visit again.

I tool these two photos three days before the events at Durdle Door, this is what it is usually looks like here. Now I understand it has been cordoned off and locals can't access the area.

Perhaps some of the paralytic vomiting visitors could be selected for trials assessing the 2-metre rule and the onset of Covid-19 symptoms along with the IV disinfectant and UV wand up the bum treatments.
Yes, there will be casualties but that’s what happens in pioneering experiments which are necessary for the benefit of the rest of the population.
It will also reduce the queue for the “Blade”...

I have only heard utter drivel similar to that coming from Pretti Patel, when people have tried to defend the indefensable.

Her quarantine measure is idiotic and unworkable, as well as extremely damaging to not only the aviation and connected businesses but the whole economy.

"Doing it for the victims"...needed to get the tourism industry "up and running faster"...."we have an unprecedented package of support - the most comprehensive in the world - both for employees and businesses"..... these remarks don't fool anyone. Is she deaf or proving she is yet another of Boris's gang not fit for purpose?

"we will all suffer if we get this wrong"............her so much less than the people in direct line of fire, with jobs at stake. She won't suffer one bit.

Has Boris got the balls to tell her it's scrapped?

Test, track and trace would appear to be another dismal Tony Hancockcockup if initial reports are to be believed. Government spokespersons have been so far 'unable' to tell any media enquiries what the results of the system which started last Thursday have been - I wonder why? According to some information Channel 4 news produced, around 4634 'diseased' had been identified by Sunday night and only 1,749 of these 'contacted' for 'tracing'. We have also heard reports from the huge 'Hancock army' of TTT 'recruits' that many have sat idle for days. We have been told the UK is running at around 8000 CONFIRMED C19 infections per day. On that basis, there was, by Sunday evening, a backlog of around 22,000 waiting to be processed, to be added to the 16,000 accumulated since then. On this system, confidence in the 'surprise', knee-jerk "let's feed some good news to the rabble' relaxation of lockdown rules hangs.

Add to this the magnificent (and unexpected) 'achievement' of Hancockcockup of '100,000 test per day by 30 April' appears to have been 'achieved' by counting both of the two necessary swab tests per person as 'two tests' and including around 40,000 'test kits' sent out by post on 30 April. OH YES!! No wonder the statisticians are complaining.

This Bojo/Scummings government with its 'World-beating Test, Track and Trace' system needs booting out!
