Now that the truth of Westminster’s handling of the pan(dem)ic is beginning to ooze like pus from a long overdue-for-lancing boil, the latest criticism is ‘why did we not close off our borders earlier’?
I don’t suppose that failure has anything to do with our remaining membership of the EUSSR, where there are no borders and any move like that would have incurred the wrath of the ECJ?
I’m still fascinated at the connection between closing the pubs to open the schools, the benefits of house arrest for those over the age of 50 and the M25 around London becoming a ring of steel which the ordinary citizen may not penetrate.
I’m sure I’ve been reasonably awake during the last few months but the logic of this escapes me and as for the maths of current ‘cases’, excess deaths and wear a mask, don’t wear a mask, help the economy by getting cheap fast food so’s I can get fat and then get my £50 voucher for repairing my bike or buying a new one, I admit defeat in comprehension.
I doubt somehow a change of posting moniker will help either.
Padraqig Fegan added: "If Liverpool are doing something and Nigel Farage is against it then I’m sure they’re doing something right. Refugees Welcome."
I wonder where he comes from, another non English person expecting us to fund his comforts no doubt. I don't suppose the authors of this article realise that Nigel only visited the hotel because the local people invited him there because they had no option as the local authorities were taking no notice of their complaints.

Hoylake, FFS, if I could have afforded to live in Hoylake I would not have wanted to visit Liverpool.

I live 10 mins from Hoylake.Sadly it is a bit of a doss hole these days.I passed through yesterday morning at 5-30 am on my way to the beach to collect worms. The council have stopped clearing and treating the beach so it now looks like a huge football pitch. It will end up like Parkgate.

Loved Parkgate, white wash and oak beams, lovely waterside walk along the wharf on the Dee. If you looked hard you could even see the river.
Our other place was Red Rocks and Hilbre Island, long walk from the bus station. Next day my skin would peal off on sheets.
Then New Brighton, number 11 bus, paddle by the sewage outfall lovely large mussels. Black things floating in the water.

Parkgate rarely see's fresh tidal water hence the stagnant pools are a breeding ground for the mozzies in the summer.
Hilbre Island is 1.6km from the shore. That is where I went yesterday morning for bait.It is a birdwatchers paradise but there are no facilities if you decide to stay over the tide.
New Brighton has had millions spent tarting the place up.The beaches are good. After spending all that money the council are doing everything they can to drive people away by making it impossible to park.

Seems to be quite a talking point, a large number of people voted Tory because they believed that this would restore some sanity to our lives, we now have a Prime Minister that is spending our money in a manner that Corbin and his Trots could only dream about, and also using the Border Force and the Royal Navy to assist, encourage and welcome unknown illegal hordes in the country to be be put up at our expense in lavish country hotels.
