Many legal immigrants have and are still trying to do that. Lots of them are in politics trying to change the country to what they believe is a better place. Some have good ideas, some don't, no different from the people whose family have been here for generations. That's the point - every citizen has the right to attempt to make change. You just need to legally apply for the right to come here and you are welcome to give it your best shot at change.

In a way which I think neither John Hill nor Nick Riviera recognise, they are both right. They are blind to eachother's viewpoint, but they are both looking at the same problem/solution from opposite directions.

So you see, shithole lands can be made better, but only by and with the co-operation of the inhabitants who turned the land to ****. Outsiders, such as The Empire and its poodles like Britain, can help by not making things worse.

Stop bombing those shithole countries, ferfuxake. We could never make Libya or Syria or Iraq or Yemen or Afghanistan better places for the gollywogs to live in by bombing them. Why did we ever think we could do that? Why did we ever think there'd be no splashback?

This is my take on John's thoughts of building back the country's we have supposedly turned into hell holes.
In 2020, Britain spent 14.5 billion pounds ($20.18 billion) on aid,In 2020, the U.S. gave around $35 billion in aid,Germany $30 billion,France $ 14.1 billion aid in2020.The above was the result nof a quick giggle search on the ammount of foreign aid given to developing countries,this is not a full list but gives some idea
of how much is given.The only problen is, that history has shown that not a lot of the money goes to improving the living standards to those it was intended for, but ends up being squirreled of to the Swiss bank account of some corrupt politicians. So until aid takes another form, I dont believe that giving money to thieving/corrupt officials will improve the lives of those that require it most.
