I'd be content to let that go, but what worries me is that she gained a healthy following - many see her as a messiah or prophet. If she were older she could probably challenge for political office given the adoration heaped upon her.

I don't fault her. She's too young to have a sophisticated though process. She's merely been stamped out by her environment and upbringing, and is playing her role as her parents have apparently choreographed.

We had a great Traffic bloke in my old mob with the same mental issue who could solve complex onboard seating problems in the bat of an eye. Bloody ‘mazing. Trouble is you couldn’t invite him out for a hookah sesh as something as small as a misplaced word would send him into a loud wild angry frenzied rant. Thing is next day at the gate he carried on as if nothing happened. I think it’s the same with this 16yo psycho - no empathy whatsoever nor any self-awareness of previous episodes. I seem to remember many years ago once reading an article written by some Psychiatrist/Psychoanalyst/whatever who claimed that some people so affected whilst being especially gifted/talented in some areas can also wind up being quite vicious Psychopaths.

One such example quoted in this article was Reinhard Heidrich. A brilliant Violinist of Concert level ability but totally lacking in any empathy towards fellow Human beings whatsoever.

One would think however that the quoted example was an extreme exception.

Since the subject of this particular thread is 'Children', and I detect a significant number of climate change deniers (or 'doubters' even) exist here, can I ask how many members/contributors here have children or grandchildren? I often wonder if a 'denier' might be primarily focussed mainly on his or her life span.
