I must be a Prevert as I find the pouty little face strangely attractive.

I am having trouble with a Tradesperson. The young Wunderkind would be the perfect person to send to nag him to come up and finish the job.

That Grtea girl would have had less of an 'environmental foootprint' had she just hopped on a commercial flight! All that fibreglass and resin she used to sail across the Sea!...

It turns out the English professional skipper on Greta's latest voyage flew out to the US to take command, thereby completely canceling the savings.
Not reported by most of the MSM, of course. Just the DM, oddly enough.
It's just pathetic.

Re: Children's Climate protests.
We had a student strike here the other day and they decided to gather in front of the parliament. However this is where one the main trans-city avenue lies. Traffic jam created and pollution increased. Nice thought on behalf of the children.Mrs Ex-Ascot wrote: ↑Sat Dec 07, 2019 8:07 amMaybe Greta isn't so stupid after all; https://www.theguardian.com/environment ... ed-nothing

Has that 16yo Swede bitch let fly with any “How dare you!”s at Australia’s bushfires and NZ’s volcano eruption yet?
That’s lotsa CO2 released into the air to say nothing of White Island’s methane.
Oh sorry...I forgot they’re caused by Nature and have been for millions of years. So Man can’t be blamed (much to the chagrin of her script writers), but I’m sure the AGW lunatic maniacs will find a way of doing so.

To play devil's advocate here, she and her teammates (I wrote handlers but I changed) believes that humans or more correctly Westerners need to cut the emissions. What other countries (like China), what Nature (Earth and Sun) are doing, obviously they don't care.
Re: Children's Climate protests.
She has been named 'Person of the Year' by that rag, Time Magazine.
Along with Mad Merkel, the destructress of Europe and its civilisation, Al-Burak O'Bummer, Mark Zuikerberg, and Vladimir Putin, she's in some pretty nasty company.

Re: Children's Climate protests.
It should properly be titled 'Most newsworthy person of the year', which she probably is. Hitler was named Time's Person of the Year in 1938, Joe Stalin in 1939 and 1942.
Whether she should be newsworthy is another question, and what would any discussion of that would say about the media today?
As with all the others, Time has a habit of not asking awkward questions about the ones they like.

She would fit right in. However to be honest regarding Frau Merkel, her decision to open doors didn't bring the end of the European way of life yet as we feared and cost us a member here.Capetonian wrote: ↑Wed Dec 11, 2019 3:15 pmShe has been named 'Person of the Year' by that rag, Time Magazine.

I believe it will eventually RiS, given the immigrants rabbit-like breeding rate, unless there’s an immediate end to the PC-riddled EU, and broken up and disbanded as a seriously bad joke. Look at Hungary for example. Safe.
I still stick to my conclusion that England has been a lost cause for some time - and even if every real Pom rose up right now at this minute it would be too little too late.

Re: Children's Climate protests.
It will take time Slasher as the public just now has started to see the light. For instance in Greece people start saying no to hotspots to host illegal immigrants next to their towns something done for the first time since 2015. Unfortunately the government keeps welcoming the illegals.
As far the environment goes the situation is weird. We are okish to pay taxes but we have yet to see if having a deteriorated life style will be tolerated.
