I've met the man and I don't agree with all his views by any means, but he gives a fair breakdown of what happened in court from which one can understand how the jury might have reached that particular verdict.

Salmond is an arse, but I'm glad this happened, one in the eye for the me as well brigade, and it does go to show that there is at least one women judge who isn't bent. Perhaps he will make a political comeback?

If one can be arrested and questioned by UK Plod for comments on social meeja then I would expect to see the “conspirators” against Salmond hauled in publicly to a police station for questioning, cautioning and with the possibility of being charged with wasting police time and presumably lying under oath in a criminal trial.
Equally important is the question whether the accusers were put up to it by higher echelon(s) who had a vested interest in exploiting the propensity for Alex Salmond to be tactile and assertive in his pursuit of ‘consent’ activities with his co-workers in the Jockistan parliament.
This smells more strongly and sickeningly than any stroll along the harbour walls at Peterhead fishing port.
