Re: Labour leader.
Grangela Rayner currently being interviewed by Andrew Marrxist on BBC. No interruptions....is it because she isn't a Tory??

Re: Labour leader.
Corbyn is a nutter but the next labour leader needs by definition to be a socialist, that is after all what the labour party was built on and for.

Re: Labour leader.
Sabo.
I suggest the next labour should be an oppositionist- because that's what the Labour party is really for!
Gonna be a loooooooong time before Labour gain power again, and maybe they never will.

"oppositionist" is a totally negative concept.

Re: Labour leader.
That might appear to be the case under the definition;
noun: oppositionist; plural noun: oppositionists
(typically in a political context) a person who opposes someone or something.
"a prominent oppositionist who criticized the party line"
adjective: oppositionist
relating to opposition or oppositionists.
"oppositionist union leaders"
Anyway, it's a big word and my tongue gets caught in my canine teeth when I try to pronounce it, so.......

Re: Labour leader.
Suddenly, Wrong-Daily has disappeared from the Lists. What happened ? Did she do or say something even more ludicrous than usual ?
PS just seen she's in a debate right now on Sky TV. Worth watching...

Re: Labour leader.
The first question tonight - from a Labour member - was "how can the Labour Party ensure accountability from the Tories for dealing with the Corona Virus."

Re: Labour leader.
Keir Starmer just dropped a massive bollock. Lady who is 100% blind asked a question and Starmer says he would love for her to come to his constituency and see what he is doing.

His obvious response to her visit would be “Nothing to see here, move along”! Would he actually be DOING anything anyway?4mastacker wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2020 8:56 pmKeir Starmer just dropped a massive bollock. Polls seem to think he's going to win in the first round.

Re: Labour leader.
Andrew Marr is currently interviewing Richard Burgon who is a candidate as labour's deputy leader. Dear god, if he ever gets elected and eventually becomes deputy PM (hopefully unlikely in my lifetime) then this country is well and truly screwed.

Re: Labour leader.
I used to think the Marr show was worth using some of my remaining precious time and attention but since the BBC bias became so obvious during the Brexit farce I’ve moved elsewhere for political discussion.
Andrew Neil still gives value for money in his weekly savaging of our pathetic politicos bur the rest are a waste of time.
If the Marr show throws up something controversial which is commented on in other places then I might give his show a look but alas he’s like the rest of them, interrupting and pushing whatever is the producers’ line or his own personal take on a topic.

Re: Labour leader.
Wrong-Daily being savaged by Andrew Neil right now on BBC2. Claims she was a solicitor for the NHS to defend against PFI initiatives whilst actually helping said PFI contracts to progress.
It is almost painful watching ! !
And she was NOT a solicitor then. A bit like Gina Miller.......

Filleted. Right at the end he asked why she should be leader. She recapped about 8 points not one of which addressed the question. ANs final look was of one of resignation.

Re: Labour leader.
4ma, I hate that set, pure Beeb. Neil, already a hulk, sits on pneumatic lift swivel chair. His victim sits perched on a diminutive tub chair well below the interregator. It is too small and uncomfortable. Starmer sat on the edge but the polished black floor under his seat made it look as if he was a midget whose legs were dangling.
Then the other one, watch her face as she dissembles.
