The Duke and Duchess of Sussex
Re: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex
Nah still don’t understand it as I’m not following the story (just not interested in the Royals and their shenanigans really) but from what Ex-A posted above ( ) I understand the funny side of the pic a little now.
I’m wondering if that 3-legged car was the same blue one that Mr Bean used to run off the road?

Well, me being interested in humans in general (ok, sounds weird, nothing doing) - and, as the DW article suggests, Harry might have mental problems - that's what I thought when I watched the African doc. Somehow seemed real creepy to have him walk the same street his mother used to, and what he said after that.

Probes, join the club. I know questions of ginger hair have been comprehensively debunked but I wonder. Do gingers go bald?

Re: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex
After seeing the Daily Wail's hate campaign against H &M, I am not surprised they want out.
Re: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex
Slasher - you watch 'Mr Bean' and not 'Fools and Horses'?!!!!!
Re: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex
Well it was never shown where I am/was Boac.
Maybe it didn’t get a worldwide following like Mr Bean, Are You Being Served, Fawlty Towers, Steptoe & Son, Till Death Us Do Part, Monty Python’s FC and Dads Army.
I know more about Mrs Slocum’s pussy than that of Meegan bloody Markle’s, and Harold Sr’s foray into porn acting (“well me and yer mum was poor back then ‘arold!”) than whatever some son of Di bonked with Epstein’s help.
I guess if I was an English bloke I’d follow whatever the heck the Royals do, but I’m not and I don’t. Except Liz. HRH is worth the bother. The rest of ‘em no.

When all else fails, read the instructions.
Re: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex
- I recommend you try it - it is all over YouTube etc. The outstanding David Jason as 'Del Boy' and Nicholas Lyndhurst as 'Rodney'.Slasher wrote:Well it was never shown where I am/was Boac

Ok. I’m home now so plenty of time to have a look. Thanks for the recommendation.
Re: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex
Ibbie, I thought that, the piece written by Piers Morgan was appalling, I suppose the newspapers think that they reflect public opinion in this, but I'm not sure that they do.
The news today is that the Queen wants the issues resolved within 72 hours, had the happy couple discussed this at the convenience of the Palace I'm pretty sure that it would have taken longer. I think the angst has been generated by the fact that the Establishment have been wrong footed over this.
The Daily Mail has misjudged the mood I think, most people are indifferent, a few are outraged and a few think good luck to them, perhaps it is thought that the way they did it was wrong, but we don't know what alternatives to this were on offer. They are both adults, both have achieved much more than most of us, her with her career and him with his military service, why shouldn't they do what they want in the way that they want to.
With the exception of the Queen and possibly Zara Phillips I don't really think the Royal Family are much of a role model for the rest of us, glad that someone in there has a bit of get up and go.

It seems that this 'rift' has been smouldering for some considerable time, apparently undetected by the Palace (or, the Palace assumed it wouldn't happen).
MI5 OR MI6?
Perhaps it fell between the two?

Sorry, dear chap, I have to disagree with you there big time on that statement. I will not even start but what about HRH PP and the Cambridges, HRH The Princess Royal and so I could go on.With the exception of the Queen and possibly Zara Phillips I don't really think the Royal Family are much of a role model for the rest of us, glad that someone in there has a bit of get up and go.

Re: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex
We met PP a few times as our honorary Air Commodore. Now he didn't have to do what he did but he dined in about once a year and used to use the opportunity to fly up right hand seat in the Nimrod. Good egg; some corny jokes - Hirondel into wine - pearly gate joke man killed by fridge falling from a flat etc.

I had the honour of sitting with HRH as safety pilot for hundreds of hours. Bloody good pilot and great fun. He is one of the few members of The Royal Family who you forget his status and can put your foot in it. He didn't mind.Pontius Navigator wrote: ↑Sat Jan 11, 2020 3:32 pmWe met PP a few times as our honorary Air Commodore. Can we not call things as they are?
A bastard- illegitimate son of his whore mother?
A yank half breed who'se sucked more than most.
Royal?
Surely, you pull my leg? My cat is more Royal than these fcujwits.

Re: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex
AK, unless you can substantiate your first statement it could be taken as fake news. I know in popular fiction a certain ginger headed ADC was alleged to have sired a prince, but that particular Prince was born in 1984 and the ADC was not in post until 1986.
Who do you nominate as the putative father?
