Oh Lordy. Just wait until next Monday's press. This could see off HRH PP. His health has to have affected by this charade.

Nursing 'baby bump' again and holding hands. :ymsick:

I didn't quite manage 3 minutes. What is the average attention span of an audience of a talk show audience?

This interview is said to be 2 hours. In the clip we see Harry and Meghan sitting side by side, then Meghan on a lone chair. Clearly the set was rearranged during the interview.

Two hours? Will there be commercial breaks every few minutes? Will they use that technique much loved on expose documentaries where there is little real content, jumping back after a commercial break repeating what they said before the last break, or even the one before?

Is it like a Greek church service? You can wander in and out when you like. Have a cigarette, a beer or a bonk outside.

HRH PP is clearly not awfully well. If these bozos had half an ounce of decency they would delay this media circus interview broadcast until further notice. Say until after the divorce then this fat NR woman interviewer could add another hour onto the programme and make it a real epic.

If they had had, it wouldn't have happened.

I can imagine her sitting in a quiet room somewhere practising her 'regal' image in the mirror, number two after the act she used in 'Suits'. It's definitely more polished than the earlier 'royal' ones she used in the U.K. and probably had her entire team of PR advisors, hair stylists, couturiers etc fawning. Sadly she just reminds me of Wallis Simpson.

'Haz' was probably taking the pause in recording before her solo performance as an unscrutinised opportunity to longingly polish his hunting knives and guns and then have a well deserved kip. He seems to have slept through most of the past couple of years though i-) and what a useful stooge Corden was. :ymsick:

I wonder if he now takes full advantage of all the opportunities offered by Los Angeles social life now he can exploit his new found annonimity.

No worries about some rat releasing videos of indiscretions to the gutter press.

I'm giving them a stiff ignoring. Is there some drying paint that needs watching?

Do plants have brains? We had an enjoyable week in an apartment in Spain. There was a creeper where a tendril grew daily and appeared to reach out to a wire. After a week it reached it and started wrapping around it.

Much more interesting than two black women talking with American accents for two hours.

How do they do that?

I think we should be told.

Royal Family has 'more important things to worry about' than Sussexes' interview as Prince Philip moves hospitals

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/royal-famil ... ed-second/

The Royal Family has "more important things to worry about" than the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Oprah Winfrey interview, Buckingham Palace aides said on Monday night, as the Duke of Edinburgh was transferred to a leading cardiac hospital.

Too true. Let's see how the gruesome twosome handle it now.

Aristocratic Freedom and Duty

#1336 Post by Karearea » Mon Mar 01, 2021 11:50 pm

It is rare for a single family to be the subject of action by both Buckingham Palace and the Holy See in the same week. The Spencer clan, though, is no ordinary family—it includes the dukes of Marlborough, Sir Winston Churchill, and, latterly, Diana, Princess of Wales.

It is about time, like today, to announce a postponement of this muppet show on Sunday due to the health of HRH PP. But the two NRs are in show business and the puppet on a string will not intervene so the attitude will be that the show must go on.

a very interesting link, thanks, K!
Father Ignatius and Harry found, across the centuries, that their lives would not be determined by the accidents of birth. There is something admirable in that, but also risky. Self-determination risks becoming self-destruction, depending on the self. Sanctity makes it something noble, so much so that Father Ignatius now is an adornment to the family from which he removed himself. Self-indulgence makes it something pitiable, as Harry has now been excised from the mission of the family his mother married into.
