The Duke and Duchess of Sussex
Re: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex
She desperately wants to be known as a princess.
Perhaps Disneyland could find a place for her.

Allegedly because she does not want to eclipse H and all his own literary endeavours. After all, hers are only children's stories and not a scintillating as H's epic tome.4mastacker wrote: ↑Mon Jan 23, 2023 10:42 pm...if she hasn't done so already. If it is true that a network wants him as a live commentator it is a sad indictment of a certain section of the American public.
Re: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex
The book review seemed spot on to me. When Diana died, H was a very impressionable boy who idolized his mother. Nobody stepped into the void created by her death until the horror show that is MM showed up. We have seen it before with Edward and Mrs. Simpson-a domineering woman controlling a weak man. He is very childlike with the whining, lack of judgement, and constantly acting the victim. He will, I'm afraid end up the same way as the Windsors-isolated, disappointed, and sad. She may or may not still be in the picture. At least the DofW had a bit of class and hung in there until the end. MM has no class. People are already tiring of their constant whining. They bring nothing to the table. How many books, interviews can you do churning out the same old song? H has already given us a tawdry picture of his life-please spare us more penis stories. That is the mystique of the Royals-don't let the punters know too much. H has yet to learn that lesson.

There seems to be no lack of interest here, either? A busy thread.

Limeygal +1 from me. Well said. I just wonder what will happen to Harry when MM eventually leaves him.
Re: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex
Does the Sussex relationship depend on her continuing to be devoted to Harry?
What if she transferred her interest to someone else?
Who could attract her?
She is obviously keen for sex.

You only live twice. Once when you're born. Once when you've looked death in the face.

Sasha Walpole, my goodness. Not, at least in her present form, someone I'd have picked for my first experience of fornication. Tag team wrestling maybe.
Possibly she was svelte and slim then.

I don't think so actually from a photo I have seen. Both just dead drunk. it is reported that she is making dosh out of this claim. It is also reported that she may not have been his first. Just standby for other women coming forward. You just can't make up this Ginge and Nutmeg saga. Wish I could hear The Duke of Edinburgh's views.

He lasted five minutes, she says. Possibly something he'd have preferred not to be publicised. Although at 16, not unusual.....

She was heard to say "Some day my Prince will come"

EXCLUSIVE: Judge rules Meghan and Harry must be GRILLED in deposition over Samantha Markle's claim the couple lied about her in Oprah interview - exposing even more of what's left behind their curtain of secrecy

Meghan's half-sister Samantha is suing the Duke and Duchess for $75,000
A judge ruled that Meghan and Harry will be grilled by Samantha's lawyers on subjects like whether Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles were racist
Meghan's lawyers asked the judge to stop the discovery process, but she refused

They have already spilled intimate details of their lives in their Netflix special and in Prince Harry's tell-all memoir.
But now the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will have to submit to their most revealing interrogation yet as part of a lawsuit brought by Meghan's sister Samantha.
A judge refused to grant Meghan Markle's request to stop depositions being taken, meaning that she and Harry will be grilled by Samantha Markle's lawyers.
Within the next few months they will have to discuss subjects including whether the late Queen Elizabeth was racist.
But in a victory for the Duchess, a judge warned that the case may be 'ripe for dismissal' before the depositions take place.
Judge Charlene Edwards Honeywell said that after a 'preliminary peek' at Meghan's request to dismiss the case there may be grounds to throw it out.
Samantha is seeking $75,000 in damages over claims in the Sussexes' 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey and their 2020 biography Finding Freedom.
According to Samantha, the allegations subjected her to 'humiliation, shame and hatred on a worldwide scale'.
Meghan's lawyers have refused to respond to 38 questions from Samantha's lawyers filed in the Florida federal court lawsuit as they want Judge Honeywell to rule on their motion to dismiss first.
They also asked the judge to stop the discovery process but she refused to do so.
In her ruling, Judge Honeywell wrote: 'Defendant Markle does not show that unusual circumstances justify the requested stay, or that prejudice or an undue burden will result if the Court does not impose a stay.
'Although a preliminary peek at the motion to dismiss suggests that some of the claims against her may be ripe for dismissal, the review does not reveal, at this time, a clear indication that the Court will dismiss the action in its entirety.
'Thus, defendant Markle does not satisfy the high standard required to stay discovery pending the resolution of a dispositive motion.'
The ruling means that Meghan and Harry will have to sit for deposition which will have to take place before July, if the case moves ahead.
They are likely to be challenged about statements that Samantha wants a response to including: 'Queen Elizabeth was not a racist' and 'King Charles is not a racist'.
Stay tuned folks! See if the gruesome twosome can get out of this mess. Sadly I think it's a foregone conclusion they can, because money buys the best legal charlatans.

Re: The Duke and Duchess of Sussex
FD2 I fear that you are right. Samantha can't have endless funds whereas Ginge and Nutmeg have considerable. They will walk away from it. The only hope is that they are so unpopular over there and the Lady judge will push it through in sympathy for Samantha.
