I am beginning to lose patience with our King's failure to deal with this ghastly couple of no-hopers.
I suspect that eventually patience will be exhausted/the line crossed/whatever. ~X(

And the subsequent reckoning will be total, savage and irrevocable! X(

I hope so Pinky.

Seems that Prince Harry may not have understand what the award was for. If he has any decency he should pull out of the award ceremony but he will not be allowed to.

Grassy Knoll needed. Or narrow wooden bridge. Traditional remedies for jumped-up parvenu Kennedy family.

I was curious to see if their mixed race marriage might have been a factor. Looking at the UK census black/white marriage or habitation seems vanishingly small at around 100k though White/Asian is double that. There were lots of other permutations but too many to consider.

I then found this in the US :
The number of interracial marriages as a proportion of new marriages has been increasing from 3% in 1967 to 19% in 2019.[3]

Public approval of interracial marriage rose from around 5% in the 1950s to 94% in 2021.[4]

I don't think that is the reason for the award. Is it 'instutional hatred of the monarchy'? While many appear to 'love the Royals and the ceremony' I think republicanism is not far below the surface.

Eat your heart out Nutmeg. This is what a 'real' Princess looks like.

The DoK is looking a bit fragile.

He is 87, and suffered a minor stroke in 2013.

When I was a young boy, I used to spend time in Runswick Bay (in Yorkshire) and one year the DoK was part of a party of Engineers who 'improved' the access for launching the lifeboat (ie blew up rocks that impeded the low water route).

He was accompanied by the delightful Katharine Worsley (later to become his wife).
She is now 89 and has suffered from a debilitating health condition.

Working as 707 Navigator, D of Kent a pax. and requested a visit to the flt. deck. She accompanied him, and seated on the jump seat turned around and asked what I was doing ? I educated her into the mysteries of Loran, that I was currently using !

Million years later, whilst still enjoying Staff Travel was seated at the back of F/Class whilst she ( alone on that occasion ) and her two bodyguards occupied the front row. I asked one of the B/guards if I could approach her, and reminded her of that previous flight, which she did ! Very Gracious.

Nutmeg is going to play on this. Her dog Scobie Do. has already been verbal about it.

OK the lady, whom I have met, and is delightful asked a NR wearing jungle bunny kit where she was from and Lady Hussey didn't believe London. In the end she admitted her roots were Africa. So why wear jungle bunny kit to Buck House if you want to be considered British?

HMK will have his head in his hands. The late HRH PP will be roaring with laughter in his vault.

Shame she resigned after such long service to HMQ. Really not necessary.

I come into contact with NRs quite a lot. If they are reasonable, I usually ask them where they are from, simply out of interest. Usually, it's somewhere in the Caribbean and we can chat about it, without getting all racial over it. It's clear that this woman wanted to make a deal of it. I mean 'Sistah Space' says it all really, doesn't it?

Wonder if M.M. will turn up next with a bone through her nose to emphasise her ethnic orgins, of which most of us were unaware before she started shouting about them....

It would appear that it is time for Lady SH to be put out to grass! She really had 'lost' it there and should have known better.

At what age should we put Barking out to grass, do you think? Time for her to go.

Now more is being told
"The lady in waiting who has just resigned for her disgusting comments to Ngozi Fulani was the one assigned to Meghan Markle to introduce her to royal life."

Maybe MM was right?
