H is, remotely, in the line but after William, George, Charlotte, Louis, and whoever which makes him #6th. In 20 years time George might have children too which would push everyone down again.

He really is spare.

In Feb 1952 when HMQ inherited the job, who was number 6 in line?

Where is s/he in today's pecking order?

Richard of Gloucester of course. Margaret had been relegated from 2nd under KGVI to 4th by 1952 and moved up to 3rd when her father died.

And currently he is 27th!

If a scabby tabloid rag were to find, by DNA evidence, that Harry is not the natural son of Charles, would he, H not C, be declared to be a bastard who is ineligible to inherit the Chairman's job?

Of course the Editor would have to kiss goodbye to his K and ermine and will be nervous at the sound of an approaching Apache gunship. :D

Seeing Charlie allegedly had someone to squeeze the toothpaste tube for him, is it beyond reality that he had someone to ...errr.....perform for him.

Prince Harry has 'joined a helicopter club in California' so he can 'take Meghan and Archie on trips and keep his licence in date', source claims If only it were that simple... :))

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/arti ... trips.html

I wonder what aircraft he did his 1179 on before he left the Army or perhaps he's been doing a lot of time in a Squirrel or something. So that gets him a PPL (H) if he could manage to pass the technical :)) then I guess he's got to get his FAA Airman's Certificate sorted, etc etc.

I wonder what the truth of the matter is or if this is just the usual load of tabloid tripe on the lines of 'he's flown helicopters so could just jump in one anywhere and fly away'. :ymsick:

I heard he always had a competent adult with him in the Apache.
Harry later qualified as an Apache helicopter commander in 2013 after three years of training.
. . .
"If there's people trying to do bad stuff to our guys, then we'll take them out of the game, I suppose."
Shouting "BAM BAM take that you nasty filthy people"

He was awarded a prize for best co-pilot gunner when he first qualified as an Apache pilot in February 2012.

But we had an excuse, Dad was #1, H was #4 and then #5. Just saw a Wiki picture of H, I bet it was pre nutmeg judging by his smile.

I remember the fuss when Charlie was doing his armed forces acquaint and part of it was flying the Wessex 5 at Yeovilton. Everything in his aircraft was less than half life, two engines in the Mk 5 of course and he always had a competent pilot with him, but it was noted that he was interested and had none of the pomposity and arrogance that his youngest brother was to display later. But Charlie was Number 1 in line.

Harry was always P2 as far as I know. Does anyone know how William got on in the Sea King at Valley? Was he ever captain on call outs? Was he later accompanied by another pilot in his air ambulance flights, which he has cited as the sort of experience that could lead to PTSD (the bodies and injuries not the flying!). He seems to have more gumption and brains than the ginger one.
