PRINCE Andrew is hiding in his royal mansion to avoid officials trying to serve a rape lawsuit on him, it is claimed.
Security guards stopped “multiple attempts” by lawyers last week to hand the document to The Duke of York at Royal Lodge.
If he refuses to accept the civil summons, issued by a New York court clerk three weeks ago, the Duke risks facing a “judgment by default” next month.
An insider said “more attempts will be made” to hand the papers to Andrew but a source said: “There’s no way he will risk poking his head outside right now. He will stay out of view.”

The Murdoch media are carrying the story.

The Porchester boy is wise not to venture into any public space as the people who are hired to serve those legal documents on him know what they're doing and are handsomely paid for doing their job successfully.

He's effectively made himself a prisoner. He cannot risk having to stand in a Court and tell the truth under oath. He's a pathetically bad liar, as he showed in that telly interview. Either way, he's ****.

Aren’t they all still at Balmoral until the end of the month?

The Queen will stay at Balmoral until the end of October. Andrew usually visits for a couple of weeks for the shooting. I don't think he'll be doing so this year due to the place being very accessible by the agency who want to serve those papers on him. Birkhall is rather more inaccessible to the public, so he might stay there, but he certainly wouldn't dare to pop into Ballater for shopping as usual while he's under threat of that legal papers thing.

Apparently he was in Scotland for 10 days, but is now back at Royal Lodge.

“There’s no way he will risk poking his head outside right now. He will stay out of view.”

Funny that all his troubles started when he was poking his head inside where he shouldn’t have.

Suddenly it's Charlie's turn in the spotlight. I expect the Queen could do with a change after all the rigorous intellectual conversations with Fergie at Balmoral and the troubles with the ginger donkey in California. Poor woman.

Are there any in that grubby German tribe who haven't been 'at it'?

Tradition dear boy, tradition. Knighthoods, baronetcies and grants of estates having long been in their gift and Charlie is nothing if not an anachronistic traditionalist.

Our local knob started as:
The title was created in 1643 for William Murray, who had earlier represented Fowey and East Looe in the English House of Commons. He was made Lord Huntingtower at the same time, also in the Peerage of Scotland. William Murray had been a lifelong friend of King Charles I, in fact having been his whipping boy while the latter was Prince of Wales.[1][2]

I got confused as to this 'Closest Aide' Michael Fawcett. I knew all the private secretaries and knew the name Michael Fawcett but he wasn't one of them. Then I remembered he was his bloody valet. What happened there?

When the German guy gave the Knighthood and the other British stuff, such as a medal and citizenship, to the Saudi billionaire guy who had given him, in name, millions and millions of Pounds for free: what the **** did he think he was doing?

C'mon. Who is kidding whom?

Which was the leader goat? Which goat was leading? Which one was led?

Was the German guy really really so stupid as not to know what was going on?

C'mon. Pull the other one.

The milkman will be forgiven, and restored, in due course.

That's the way it works.

Wiper of the royal arse, chamberlain, is one of the highest offices, for good reason.

He will be royally and remunitavley forgiven. That's the way it works.

I'm not going to disclose the security arrangements on an open forum, but I will say that it's much more likely that he'll stay at Birkhall rather than at Balmoral.

Even at Birkhall, he'll pretty much be under house arrest.

An affidavit of service was sent to the Duke of York’s home in Windsor on August 27, according to court documents filed on Friday.

I heard it was 'taken in' by the police on duty - I thought an affidavit had to actually be given to the accused?
