Just got my Government aid package, no bourbon creams as promised had to make do with digestive. No coffee, marmalade, butter, bacon, eggs or greens either. I registered Sunday and it took them over a day to deliver it. Also I preferred brown seeded bread to white.

I mean, it only took Waitrose 5 weeks and it will be 3 before ASDA can start deliveries.

😁

I distinctly recall our own Matt Hancock stating in public, before the cameras, at the start of the pan(dem)ic that if one washed one's hands for the requisite 20 seconds with hot water and soap, it was the "hot water which killed the virus".
Now we're being told that if medical/care staff fabric PPE is washed in water hot enough to kill the virus it ruins the structure of these fabric devices so that they no longer act as a virus barrier.
Shall I report to UK A&E with my lobster-pink scalded hands for treatment, after which I can sue the Health Secretary for incorrrect advice leading to my burn injuries?
Maybe Hancock has attended the same educational faculty as the POTUS...? X(

I would like to see more evidence of that claim.

"I would like to see more evidence of that claim." One would have to do some research to verify as it's from the MSM as usual.

Here is a quote from the makers of such kit;
"Excessive washing can also affect the effectiveness of the protective material (mechanical stresses caused by machine washing)."

AIUI dentists disinfect their equipment using an autoclave - sort of like a pressure cooker I believe.

- do you actually think POTUS was educated? Doesn't bode well for Tony.

At least the real Tony had a pint of blood in his arm, unlike the POTUS, and that other knob called Hancock, and his bleach and the latter's blather...

Good to see the press going for Tony today, too. I don't think Tony was too keen on having the New Scientist there either :))

Aaw shucks, I’m going to have to get a spare burka if I go across the border into Jockistan!

Coronavirus: Should the public wear face masks? https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-51205344

Methinks I detect politicians willy-waving and trying to outdo each other in terms of control of the peasantry. Following on the Viet-Taff restriction on bicycle exercise distance from home it seems as if they’re in competition with each other as to how clever they might appear in the short term.

There is a hotel in our village (was a Coaching Inn) which has been closed for several weeks due to corona virus.
Today I see that the police have taped off the tables and chairs at the front (they are fastened down).
Looks like a crime scene.

Not long now before the Burkqa becomes a more 'acceptable' garment on the streets?

Let suspenders become an acceptable garment... (for good looking girls at least)!

I see some bumbling oaf has embarrassed our Jacinda by saying that NZ has 'eliminated' Covid-19, then went on TV later to try to convince us that eliminated means the same has having it under control. Where do people learn this *****? Um, errr, I think I know. :-\

I'd happily swap our Wee Krankie wumman for Jacinda, just so long as the bitch doesn't try to separate our equivalent of North Island from The Other Place.
