Lincoln Town Cars
I observed over a number of years that when the limo arrived to take us pilot crew from the airport to the hotel, about half the time we traveled in the back seat of a Lincoln Town Car if we were in the US. Ford quit making them for a while, why I don't know as to me it seemed they had a lock on the limo market.
My key observation is that these limos are still operating, looking good and provide quite comfortable transport. I still ride them a time or two, but when I did it while working I'd always look at the odometer and note that most of them had logged 400,000 miles or so, a very respectable endurance. And they still looked good, rode smooth, polished nice, and presented the image a limosine should.

Plumb, we who live here in the US do"get it". Several of us really don't give a flying flopper what you think about America , in which we live ,enjoy and appreciate.
You really are a sour and bitter old soul.

When all else fails, read the instructions.

Re: Coronabollocks..
Maybe I should have posted that on the China thread. I meant to extol the virtues of good products with quality, reliability and endurance.

Re: Coronabollocks..
I had a work college in the US who bought and used a Lincoln Town Car as his daily motor.
A nice car to be driven around in.

Re: Coronabollocks..
That's a different animal, PN. The Lincoln is a comfort ride while the Corona is/was practical, economical basic transportation. It's like choosing between a Porsche 911 and a Mazda Miata. Both do essentially the same job well, but there is a difference.
Re: Coronabollocks..
Did you hear a big whooshing sound, PN?
