As long as it's only "cases" and they can be anything from "resulting in death" to "no symptoms at all" testing is meaningless.

Remember this creature, disgraced nearly six months ago but still wheeled out regularly on e-MSM to say his party piece?

https://www.ludlowadvertiser.co.uk/news ... -quit-job/

And we are currently being wooed by Messrs Vallance and Whitty at the renewed (far too often) ‘briefing’ from wherever. Their particular CVs don’t inspire any confidence in me as to the veracity of their oft-quoted data which yet again seems to be stoking up Project Fear to new levels.

Here’s an update on their outside interests, along with some of the others who are shovelling spoonfuls of ‘science’ into the permanently gaping and inarticulate gob of our Prime Minister and his poodle Hancock;

https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/ ... dotheyknow

The pdf reply is a waste of wiggly amps but basically says: “Dunno the answer, check with my mate down the corridor on the right”.

This is all good material for a future ‘Yes, Minister’ scriptwriter but alas I’ll be pushing up the daisies before it is ever broadcast. :O3

i have not seen Ferguson make any comment on any media, BM. Perhaps you are seeking out the wrong 'e-MSM'?

The thing about opinions, as you know, is that - like arseholes - everybody has one and the freedom that exists in this country means they can generally express them if they wish (I refer to the opinions, lest there be any doubt...).

Better increase your dosage of quality gin, bo!

This thread post #2430 and the ‘disgraceful BBC’ thread post #517 refer. Please try and keep up! =))

What! September 20th and 22nd? Are you 'falling asleep' for long periods (for whatever reason?) I find it difficult to
keep up with the output of 'blogs' from you on a daily basis let alone look back 11 days. Things move fast in most peoples' worlds! I think your understanding of "still wheeled out regularly on e-MSM" is different to most peoples'.

Got any new news? I see newspaper items from 6th and 20th May have reached you. ^:)^

Where did that 'slogan' originate? I assume it came from the days of the Lightning and Phantom and 'Anyface', since there were no other '2 jets' around. Anyone know? I certainly had a sticker., slapped on my bone-dome. :))

I got my 'ticket' controlling Lightnings. Streams of Tonkas going north, my playmate filled his boots and RTBd. Staxton said no more play today but the Lightning driver had other ideas, did a QTR and was up for the next wave. Good sport.

Also had fun with a 15C, quite laid back, gave him the targets and he immediately went Judy. Fair enough. After he splashed two it was obvious that he was thrashing around in the dark. On prompting he asked where the rest of the formation was. "Four boggies, 6 o'clock range 2"

Most amusing phone-in on LBC. Chap walking down Upper St, passed a fish and chip shop, looked in, two police collecting their supper, neither wearing a mask, nor the staff. Went in to reprimand them (I wouldn't), they told him to go away or they'd arrest him.

I see that P &O will have two ferries available for the UK Government to herd illegals onto shortly, as they are ceasing the Hull to Zeebrugge route due to lack of passengers. Motor/lorry traffic remains the same. The ferries will be laid up.
Another victory for the mad quarantine regulations.

Perhaps they could 'ferry them' back to Calais?

Spot the difference. Government advisors Whitty and Valance predicted last week there could be 50,000 deaths a week by mid-October. James O'Brian on LBC today, 2nd October, reports only 2% of hospital beds are occupied by CV Patients.

BOAC, regarding the different numbers from different sources, regardless of actual numbers, it is the periodic change that is important with the two main sources for UK virtually the same albeit 12,000 apart.

Best bollocks, the higher numbers now are not due to more testing. They have decided that the numbers in April were lower because there was less testing

Simples, 🤓
