Not me, never had anything except measles, once, aged 7. Thinking of the things that we did walking back from school - marble rolling in the gutters etc. - I'm of the opinion that a bit of honest dirt never did anyone any harm, and acted as building up resistance to most things. Had a few colds, never flu' so will tell you if my theory is right when, or if, I ever get this Corona thing. Fingers crossed. Perhaps we'd better cancel our annual visit to Southern California. (if only to ensure that we don't get shijacked into some Bernie Sanders rally !)

More bollocks from convicted felon and so called "Christian" televangelist Jim Bakker and some self styled naturopathic doctor called Sherrill Sellman (ironic but accurate surname. Take the err out of her first name and one may get her drift again).

A Christian televangelist has been ordered by New York's attorney general to stop promoting a "cure" for the coronavirus to the public.

The cease-and-desist letter was sent to the Jim Bakker Show after it had naturopathic doctor Sherrill Sellman as a guest on 12 February.

During the show, the doctor was asked if her $125 "Silver Solution" sold online would work against the coronavirus.

"Let's say it hasn't been tested on this strain of the coronavirus," Ms Sellman said, "but it's been tested on other strains of the coronavirus and has been able to eliminate it within 12 hours."

Mr Bakker went on to promote the Silver Solution on his own website.

Sporting events in Britain are unlikely to be affected by coronavirus in the immediate future, says Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden.

Governing bodies and broadcasters will meet with government officials later on Monday to discuss the staging of events behind closed doors if the outbreak worsens and mass gatherings are banned.

Dowden told BBC Radio 5 Live: "At this stage we're not in the territory of cancelling or postponing events."

He added fans should not be barred.

Atom - I think the concern is the possible spread from the lady and in particular her 84 yr old mother who lives with her and has apparently developed the symptomatic 'dry cough' as well. Whilst not wishing any flu-like illness on anyone, AFAIK no-one is overly concerned for the MP.
