Jetex
Yes, it is.
Especially when they clearly know exactly what they are talking about!

In any case, I favour people with their own views as opposed to those who regurgitate the same "facts" that were only a short time ago, shoved down their necks.

Hype.....an appropriate word.
Your opinion 2 proves statement 1. NOBODY KNOWS - least of all you, as one who seems to be proud that you and your wife may well have contributed to a large number of infections earlier in Spain. In my opinion, and that of many who understand the situation, the actions of the UK government were ESSENTIAL to avoid a rapid escalation of cases requiring NHS treatment. The reason why our NHS is particularly vulnerable are self-evident - and now I'm afraid, irrelevant.

It is worth remembering that ALL the cases of infection we are seeing now pre-date the government's recent actions. We will be able to judge the validity of these in between 7 and 14 days and whether the NHS can survive the April showers.

Those who used to "Gouge it on" on CB radio back in the day will remember that a corona ball was used on the receiving antenna and was used to decrease the static discharge...

I guess Coronabollocks are just two of those balls... or anything that BJ says...

A gratuitous image to remind us of those happier pre-virus days and CB radios...

Whilst the prison authorities are considering releasing prisoners because their proximity to each other whilst incarcerated risks transfer of Covid19, Local Authorities are being asked to 'house' rough sleepers.

Caller on UK radio phone-in on CV19 :
Caller : "Can you tell me if you can get Corona virus from sex?"
Panelist : " It's not a sexually transmitted disease as such, but ............
Caller : "OK, so that's good then ........"
Panelist : "Perhaps you'd let me finish. You can catch Corona virus from close proximity with another person.
As far as I know it is difficult to have sex whilst keeping two metres apart, so the answer has to be yes."

Just seen our Club President. She came down with CD Tuesday week, 11 days ago. She looks like ***** and has a cough, not continuously but every few minutes.

Now the difficulty is, did she have it? Has she recovered? Can she now resume life?

The answers, without a test, have to be, possibly, maybe, and probably not.

Not at all difficult for a married couple to have sex while keeping two metres apart. Just invite the cute blond from next door and her hunky husband around....

More irony...
Mexicans call for crackdown on Americans crossing border as US cases soar
Mexicans have blocked a US border crossing south of Arizona and called for their government to step up screening over fears Americans could spread coronavirus.

Protestors in Sonora, south of the US state of Arizona, used vehicles to blockade a Mexico-bound road for a second day on Wednesday.

Some wore face masks and held signs warning Americans to “stay at home”, as the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the United States overtook China on Thursday.

Mexico has less than 500 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, compared to more than 84,900 in the US.

Jose Luis Hernandez, a member of the Sonorans for Health and Life who led the blockade, told the Arizona Republic that the protest was a warning to Mexican president Mr Lopez Obrador.
