Good post Ribrash.
Says it all.
We cannot abolish death, we don't control it.
We also cannot control the temp of the planet. It does that stuff on its own.
Time for a big slice of humble pie for mankind to eat.
Maybe there is a God.
Is there a God? Let's ask Emmanuel Kant (pronounced ****)...
I don't believe in the big G. I believe in people. I believe in **** pilots like you Atom (and the other flying ****'s)...

Let's go fishing ribrash... *f*ck* the rest of the bollocks...
I will cast and my sea reel will tangle again...
We have had to cancel this Sunday's winter league match because too many of the competitors live out side the Wirral and are not allowed to enter.
. I can see the rest of the series being cancelled.

The daily case rate, not withstanding BM is now three times what it was when it was horrendous. What is 3 times horrendous?
They have used so much emotional blackmail that 20,000 is trivial. I just hope the death rates don't follow.

Do you sling lead weights out into the Mersey from the New Brighton sea wall?

The duration of the closing of all restaurants and bars in Catalunia started as "two weeks", progressed rapidly to "fifteen days" and is currently "at least fifteen days." At six a.m. I booked a table for lunch up at The Trull, an excellent restaurant, to get one last meal before closure. No worries about eating there: spotlessly clean. In fact I doubt whether anyone has ever contracted Covid in any of the restaurants we visit.

Apparently my area will be tier 2 from Friday night. Does this mean I can't drive to Kent on Saturday for a helicopter lesson. A serious question as such detail seems nowhere to be found on official government sites. Bunch of plonkers...

It wont be enforced anyway, it relies on people considering others, as Liverpool just illustrated that's a pipe dream....... far more important things than actually giving a ****, like football and partying in the streets

TGG, at the moment you are OK. Only the Welsh have imposed a ban on cross border crossing. How close are you to a hot spot/county boundary?
Nottingham has lots of 'shire' green spaces away from the city which will probably be very low risk and few people travelling into the city or Newark.
OTOH we live a few miles outside and know people travel from our area to Nottingham for work and shopping.
You can also plead work.

Tilbury cruise terminal and its car park butts up to the Fort. Good beer and lots of history.
