He always talks sense. He would have made a far better PM than Mr. Johnson.

The man is thick as shark *****. I would be hard pressed not to slap his head if I met him. My better half has met him. Oleaginous bastard that he is!

He didn't cover himself with glory as Leader of the Conservative Party back in the day.

Have a listen to the Chinese Ambassador to the UK.
Clearly, a complete stranger to the truth, i.e. a typical lying Chinaman.

Stephen Sackur should be shot. A detestable journo in my opinion.

I await his 'Hardtalk' interview with Trump to ask him why Trump also suppressed the threat of the virus to the American people for so many weeks. Will we see it? No.

Very difficult to get the facts without an international inquiry as is being requested by many countries. The ambassador was correct, I believe, in pointing out much of Sackur's info came from the Washington Post.
What I would like to see confirmed or disproved is the report that all internal air traffic was halted very early in the sequence, but international air traffic was not halted. Especially the numbers from China that traveled by air to Northern Italy from the Wuhan area

" Clearly, a complete stranger to the truth, i.e. a typical lying Chinaman." Could you please amplify that statement? I would have thought to make such a statement you must know all the facts surrounding this Pandemic. If so please elucidate

prospector.
For such a high ranking diplomat to deny any responsibility for CoVid tells me, at least, all that I need to know.

If he had a shred of honesty, he'd be apologising, but the CCP would probably chop his balls off if he did.

I think anyone who's had dealings with Chinese people will have formed a view on them. I certainly have. YMMV?

I didn't listen to it all day Mrs PN went off on one, but I thought his language was entirely diplomatic. Where did it start? Admittedly it was in China that the first case was identified but it is not proven yet that China was the origin.

He is expressing an opinion based on his perception, which is what forums are for, in this case about the Chinese.

I saw that interview, the Ambassdor was very suave, polished, and unruffled, and for that deserves respect.
You may say I will never see facts either, but we can all express views, even if they are subjective. In this case, none of us know whether the Ambassador was lying or not, but in my view he was, and in my experience that is typical of the Chinese.

Boac.
You cheeky monkey! I certainly accept facts.
Here's a couple- the virus came out of China, probably caused by the locals propensity for eating anything that breathes, even if it also slithers.
Another fact is that about 238,000 folk have died prematurely.

And another, in this case, indisputable- I don't like the ****!

OK - I have yet to see the FiveEyes analysis, but YOU have indisputable proof of the first statement? May I know from where?

Regarding 2, I have no idea of the actual figure. As for "died prematurely" there are many (here and elsewhere) who would question that analysis. I trust you didn't use the WHO for that as I have the impression you don't like them?

I concur with your last.

That of course is what any ambassador is paid to do - avoid any shred of honesty.

I now retract what I said about the Chinese.. They didn't lie, they just destroyed the evidence and concealed the truth.
Lovely people, I'm reinstating them to my Christmas card list.

China deliberately destroyed evidence about start of coronavirus, report says ........
The document charts how Beijing denied at first that the disease could be transmitted between humans; silenced or ‘disappeared’ medics who tried to warn of the outbreak; blocked access by international organisations to Wuhan, where it originated; and refused to provide live samples to international scientists trying to find a vaccine.
