AK,nice one. In a month I was caught on the last morning at the airport. Every trap was full. A young Indian man and me were doing a two foot shuffle manoeuvring to get the first trap free. Poor lad, 13 stone trumps 8 everytime when needs must.

The last people I had stayed with, a doctor, wife and sons, were strict vegan and the wife ate only raw veg. I am not sure what I had.

My father worked out in India, for the UN and Leicester University, doing various academic studies on the efficacy of radio propaganda, whether it be local or national Indian government's , the Voice of America or the Catholic station arguing against the use of condoms (the little Transistors of Mercy as he called them) etc. on local people's behaviour. When he got back to the UK he started to die, vomiting, crippled by violent dysentery and his British doctors, even after he ended up in ICU here, were clueless as to what was wrong with him. He was dying until a Pakistani doctor, recognized the symptoms of a water borne amoeba to be found out in that part of the world and saved his life.

You can't be a moffie to live in the Far East , nor to travel there either...
