But when they handed out the application forms to become a ‘sky pilot’, I misread the form, being temporarily blind for some odd reason (!) I applied for the position of sly pilot, and the rest was inevitable but bloody hard work as I was never a ‘natural’

Ah another lapsed Catholic. I am pleased to know that I am not alone here!

My mother had great hopes that one of her sons would be a priest. Poor woman died disappointed.
