That was something that I pondered - maybe they 'assumed' and their suspicions were confirmed when they effected the stop.

If the driver had been white then they would probably have behaved differently.

It is always interesting how do you define the group of people you consider friends and those you need to influence. If let's say I dislike water-melon I make sure I don't advertise it to a person cultivating those fruits and I need him to get me a job. On the other hand if I don't care about the other person I would be more honest and descriptive on how I dislike water-melon.

Subjectively a black minority in London, probably a local majority, may be more likely to have knives and drugs than a similar random number of whites.

Again subjectively, they are more likely to use knives. Similarly the police are scared. They say you counter the fear and threat of being attacked is by aggression and overwhelming force.

In London it was 4 police in the US 4 armed police. In the latter case the suspect was in a car on a driveway. He was shot while in the car.

In the London case I would like to see whether the road was a 3 track suburban road with two lines of cars and one drive lane. If it was there would have been no opposing traffic so they could have stopped in place.

In the US case where was this incident? What was the driver doing, or more likely not doing, to cause the policeman to shoot?

As said above, the media for the prosecution seem to automatically assume the police are at fault. In the London case, was one policeman black?
