That's where the really important lesson lies - history is written by the winning side.

Plato is important because he was around a long time ago and a lot of stuff is built on what people think he said. Kant was important for my formative years when I watched him on Play School on the BBC. The others I've never heard of, so wouldn't know whether they're important or not, which is presumably the point of introducing them to a wider audience.
