Just heard from a friend in Jersey CI. They screen arrivals by air or sea (temperature guns), no quarantine. Have picked out about 14 infected so far. NO GENERAL QUARANTINE....

They also allow all arrivals to disappear into the island with no restrictions UNTIL their results are returned. I'm not sure that is too clever!

I've been in the right places. During my time in the U.K. I spent more time with gay men than gay men spend with gay men, ie I worked for BA.
I've spent the last six or seven years in India and Kazakhstan during which time I've met precisely zero gays.

I flew as a pax with a cabin crew with a young gay steward who managed a boisterous intoxicated returning stag-do through humour (and a cabaret act).
It was interesting to watch as he defused situations more efficiently than would have been likely with a 'Schoolma'm' trying to enforce discipline.
I think that everyone had an amusing and enjoyable flight.

I read in another thread that the police actually got orf their fat harris's and went and fined the organiser of a party just this last week.........I imagine the poor little things are exhausted and traumatised now after doing their heroic bit and you wont hear much from them till the question of a pay rise comes around again
