Pontious.
I quite agree. I've found plenty more obnoxious English than any other race.

But, If I go to Indonesia, I expect to meet Muslims.

If an Indonesian visits Bradford....He might be hoping to meet a few English tossers.

What is racism is the 'white man abroad' treating the locals are inferior. The locals that one meets are usually in service industries, the likes of taxi drivers, shop keepers, hotel staff etc. The others are far more sensible and avoid the man-abroad. When the man-abroad is part of a group it can be even worse.

I say white man abroad yet it is not confined just to WMA. In Spain, at a convention, we saw a number of Nigerian women treating the Spanish owner of a cafe like a serf.

The more you try and force people to get along together, the less likely that they will.

Folk have to find their own way, and everyone's opinion has a place- including those who do not welcome incomers.
