You think that's complicated Jim. From the days of RS232C connections used to have a Gender Bender plug.

I still have some 9-way and 25-way D gender benders. Sometimes it was also necessary to have a null modem.

Transistors obviously cannot just make up their minds - why else would they need a transition frequency? They can also be bipolar to save on decisions.

The Welcome Foundation in Euston Road London has an excellent and large permanent collection of medical items through the ages. Many of these relate to 'our' colonial period. The Welcome Foundation is permanently closing this gallery as it doesn't depict our African and Asian brothers in a favourable or balanced light.
