Did they tell you why you were banned? When I was banned I was given no reason, I just couldn't log in anywhere. T28B unbanned me after a year or so because he couldn't see why I'd been chucked out.

Meh, I can’t remember how many times and for how long I’ve been banned there and my views are quite opposite from Mr. Hill’s.
Rob-the-Mod (is he still alive and there?) used to ban me for just posting, said I was hogging bandwidth. I guess he ran on a 1200 baud modem.

I think from memory a thread ban is possible with that software. Ours only allows 'forum' bans eg 'Links/'Sports' etc., as listed in the 'Board Index', so I am guessing JH was just 'thread banned', but who knows.....and that doesn't explain why he couldn't read PMs?
