A somewhat mixed up YouTube video showing repair work in Afghanistan.
Been in data comm since we formed the bits individually with a Morse key.

Most of the aircraft (except those Cessna 208 type things) and maybe all(?) of the helicopters are Russian (or Ukrainian), and quite old.

I did not see any tanks.

Btw, does anybody know what happened to the mil.technology and equipment abandoned in Afghanistan? The last video I happened to see was the jubilant taliban bunch who had managed to get a helicopter off the ground for a couple of metres. Was it sold somewhere or just dismantled or...?

Don't assume that there is nobody in Afghanistan who can handle a helicopter.

However maybe not as many as they would like to have https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QxfokYxu8uA
