Woolhouse was also critical of some of the media coverage, especially BBC television news. It was wrong, he said, to give the impression that hospitals were ‘overwhelmed’ during the first wave because while some hospitals in London were full ‘overall hospital bed occupancy was at an all-time low during that period’. The BBC also over-reported deaths of healthy young adults, ‘thereby giving the impression that these were common. In reality, such deaths were extremely rare’.

Well, the UK coverage, measures and whatnot totally was baffling - but then, I do not live in an area that densely populated, to be honest. Still, it was more than heartbreaking to see the Queen sitting alone in the church and grieving her husband and 'rock'.

The purpose of Inquiries is to whitewash.
They aren't even going to invite people to speak who will deconstruct the lies and evasions.
It has previously been deemed acceptable to fob the voters off with Inquiries.

It is notable, across the western world in the last 3 years, that this is no longer working.
It certainly isn't working here in Canada, at the Federal, Provincial, or Local Government level.
I do not know where we go next.

The three biggest problems are access to data via the Internet, which allows people to conduct their own analyses, that the level of incompetence is now so stark, staringly obvious that whitewashing is impossible, and that the screw-ups are killing people in significant numbers.
The attempt to discredit unfavorable internet reporting and analyses as "mis/dis/whatever information" has merely accelerated the demise of the MSM. It's also now trashed the reputation of every profession that's gone along with it, such as science and medicine. My experience is that people will still trust scientists and medics they know, but nothing from anyone associated with officialdom, or who repeats their BS.

+1 more in agreement.

The Covid enquiry here in the UK has already demonstrated that it is just a vehicle for finger pointing, sloping shoulders and generally blaming anyone and everyone else. It will cost tens of millions of pounds and achieve precisely nothing except making a lot of lawyers even richer.

There was an article in a recent edition of The Australian Newspaper which made mention of the first vaccine for Malaria being available for general use, having been over 20 years in development and trials.

And the Covid vaccines being available for in some instances, compulsory use, within 12 months of the virus appearing???? ~X(

Grounds for Enquiries right there methinks!! :-?

The report of the (UK) all party group looking at the UK's pandemic response makes alarming reading. Medscape have published the headline (you need to be registered to see the whole report) https://www.medscape.co.uk/viewarticle/ ... 24a10003cd

but John Campbell has published a summary of it on his channel
