I will check it out.....another series to look at for cat lovers, and those into reflection is a 6 book series by David Michie, about a cat adopted by the Dalai Lama who gets to live with him in his residence and sees all sorts of things....:

"My Beloved Monster" isn't fiction. In the Acknowledgements, for example, all the vets who helped Masha are named.

I love cats, but I couldn't eat a whole one.
The series is about making it economical to get rid of our introduced pests by making the commercial sources of meat. Sorry, I'll pass on the feral cat, thanks.
