She's resting, from day one she has always liked sleeping on her back.

Misty has settled in a bit more, went to the vets for a jab yesterday and had her claws trimmed, possibly why she looks rather grumpy, she seems to be calming down and is very affectionate.

Noble hound! Fine creature, listening attentively to his master's voice...!

Obedient, at hand, attentive and ready to spring into action against any offending remote at the click of a button. =))

This is "Kitty the Kat", or as I call her: the "attention Whooore". We have been fostering her since the fire in Paradise, California. She was found outside a burnt house, she has burned paws, missing fur on her back that was burned off and her ears were burned. We nursed her back to health---she still has nightmares occasionally and likes to fall asleep "holding" onto your hand.

Her owner lost her home and has just, (as in yesterday), relinquished control of her as she cannot have the pet in her new place. Due to the screwed up rules, we have to return Kitty on Monday to her "rescuer" who has first refusal on adoption. Monday will be a tough day in the G~Man world.

One trusts that the decent thing is done and Kitty comes home with you. All power to your elbow and Kitty's paws.

I mentioned this earlier maybe in TRABB but we kept Cookie while his owners (friends of ours) went overseas for 10 days. He adopted the upstairs ensuite sink as his bed. Dunno if this is a cute pic or a photo of a slob.

Didn't mind having him around as he was very clean, very even tempered and didn't meow about anything. I think he's Persian.

Had clients coming around today, Chinese husband & wife. He tells me they'll have grandchildren 2 & 4 with them. OK I sez, how are they with a big dog? Will be scared, he sez. OK, I'll put dog in backyard.
Comes round with kids, he's all worried that kids will interfere with machines in the workshop. Kids spot dog, dog spots kids. Kids not at all scared of dog, dog loves kids, all play happily while we discuss their project.
I think I'll promote Beau from Workshop Foreman to Client Relations Manager.

I might need to re-read the assembly instructions on this one. this is Faraday, in need of some re-arranging. Also taking up more than half of the couch.

All the pics bring back happy memories of my own Labradors, Border Collies and numerous cats.
There's rosemary, that's for remembrance. ...

Oh goody! I haven't been called a curmudgeon for absolutely ages. I think it's a super word and deserves more outings in these fora.
After a **** 2018 Madame will be the proud owner of a new hip in 10 days time so we're looking forward to a brighter pain free-ish 2019.
Perhaps you've seen the last of my curmudgeonliness (that's an even better word).
