How about a fox?
In the fields back of us, 2018/19 I would find a ladies shoe. It would appear in different places in the field over a matter of weeks, a ladies leopard pattern high heeled wedge. Then another appeared. Again it could be found in lots of different places. They were not shoes you would expect to be worn on the fields. Best we could guess was shoes left outside an nicked by a fox.
