Two regular cats (one timid, one affectionate) get fed twice a day. Feral/stray turns up and eats their food. They look at me helplessly afterwards and say "we're hungry! " I say: hard luck....

Help ! As Marlene appears somewhat rotund I just grabbed her and a tape measure. Her waist is 18 1/2 inches or 48cms. Will anyone with a mature cat to hand please grab and measure theirs for comparison?

Can't feel any babies inside Marlene. More general rotundity. Very thick coat of fur of course, outside cat....

I mean the cat is an outdoor cat, not that the fur is outside (which is self evident or should be). Quite amazing how if one pushes one's fingers down inside the cold fur one eventually reaches warm cat.
