Wonder how he done it - 757s aren't built for carrier landing loads. Ex-navy boy at the stick?

Otherwise can't see how unless he landed with the park brake on.

I know of at least a couple of 757 'heavies' (sorry, Sise, no Metars B-) ), Gerona and Funchal. I suspect the 'longer' nose section of a 757 leads to more 'nose thumpers causing damage, but that is a guess.

"We'll be down, then"
"Are you sponsored by my dentist?"
"A farm somewhere is missing its tractor driver"
"Poor nosewheel"
"Let Air Traffic know there's a hole in the runway. That wasn't there before."

Probably best I didn't fly 757s

Memories of the fabulous Lorraine from Dan and BA who was known to waddle into the flight-deck after a 'heavy one' with her **knickers round her ankles saying "Who the *** landed that...!" :-o

**Rumours varied whether she carried a spare pair or not in the cabin.....

Only seen that runway from below. We were on a cruise ship. Impressive feat of construction. I guess it can be pretty draughty up there.
