A CRJ-200 has crashed whilst in the enroute phase last night. Flightradar24 shows a rapid loss of altitude from 33,000ft to 11,725ft in 60 seconds.

This supposed crash scene photo indicates a vertical impact at high speed.

The hole is about the size of a CRJ!

No skid marks of any relevance to indicate any horizontal velocity. And as C16 wrote "Flightradar24 shows a rapid loss of altitude from 33,000ft to 11,725ft in 60 seconds" sounds like it just kept going - down.
