Arriving empty to pick up freight.

Write-off? (when you consider the abundance of unwanted 747s)

I recall a number of large berms off one of the runways which caused a nasty a while back - Kalitta was it?

Bit of a surprise, really, landing a 747 with about 12+kts tailwind on a wet 2350m runway and going off the end, eh?

Probably not with a tailwind but they land them at CBG/EGSC with a 1600m runway. I remember being stopped at a set of traffic lights on Coldhams Lane and watching a 747 land left to right in front of me.
