Our village had two banks.
Lloyds left five years ago (for years they were only open a couple of days a week), and Barclays left a couple of years ago - taking their ATM away too.
The off-licence experienced an immediate drop in sales - punters would drive to the ATM then walk across the road to the off-licence.
Now they go to the ATM in the Coop and then buy their booze in the Coop (open until 10pm).
Off licence now gone too.
