Manchester Airport: Flights cancelled and delayed after fuel problem https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-m ... r-48330568

Once upon a time the UK had a countrywide fuel pipeline grid which fed military & civilian airports since Cold War days.

Those shysters in the political bubble decided some time ago to sell off this strategic asset so some rich folk could get even richer out of taxpayers' property.

Is this episode at MAN the first crack in the new privatised facility?

A little bit of ferreting turned up this gem from nearly 7 years ago.

Who, what, why: How can an airport run out of fuel? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-18355592

It has happened at JNB too, but when you put savages in charge of technology it is no big surprise.
